It ran from July 16 to August 19, 2024, and Volare itself ended on March 30, 2026. ITA Airways’ current official frequent-flyer program is Miles & More, which announced a status match for former Volare status holders—but its announcement did not specify how to apply or the match’s eligibility rules.
What was the 10,000-point offer?
ITA Airways announced the Volare Status Match promotion on July 16, 2024. Approved applicants received 10,000 qualifying Volare points, which ITA described as relevant to upgrading to a higher Volare Club or maintaining a Club. These were status-qualifying points, not an unrestricted, spendable points bonus. The application period ended August 19, 2024. ITA Airways’ 2024 campaign terms set out the offer.
The promotion was aimed at frequent flyers living outside Italy. ITA said Volare had more than 2.1 million members worldwide at the time, and that 36% were international members; the United States, Brazil, France and Argentina were its four largest foreign markets. Those are figures from the July 2024 announcement, not current membership statistics. ITA Airways’ announcement

That announcement does not state how to apply, which former Volare levels qualify, how Volare status maps to Miles & More tiers, whether a flight or other requirement applies, how long matched status lasts, or when applications close. It confirms that a match was announced, not that a particular application route or set of terms is available. Check the current official Miles & More terms before acting; do not assume the 2024 Volare rules or 10,000-point award carry over.
