Is the $25 Sam’s Club deal still available?
There is no verified active $25 offer on October 8, 2026. Sam’s Club’s membership page showed Club for $25 and Plus for $55, against listed prices of $60 and $120, but its promotion specified a May 14–June 15, 2026 joining window. Those are historical offer terms, not confirmation of today’s price.
Other reported promotion dates have also passed: USA TODAY described the May offer as running through June 15, while GEEKSPIN reported an offer ending October 1. A Cars.com listing displayed a $25 Club offer ending September 30. None establishes that the deal remained available on October 8. Before paying, open Sam’s Club’s current offer page and confirm both the displayed price and checkout total, including applicable taxes.
Who qualified for the offer?
The eligibility rules on Sam’s Club’s membership offers page applied to the offer surfaced there; they may not be the terms of a later promotion. Those terms excluded renewals, current members, people whose previous membership ended less than six months before joining, and Walmart or Sam’s Club associates. The offer described a one-year primary membership.

If another promotion appears, read its own eligibility language rather than assuming these restrictions carry over. In particular, check the lookback period for former members and whether a renewal or existing account qualifies.

Whether Plus is worth the higher fee depends on your eligible spending and how often you use its services. The listed benefits do not establish how much any individual member will save; check the current exclusions and thresholds before counting on Sam’s Cash, shipping, or delivery.
What will the membership cost after the first year?
A discounted first-year rate is not necessarily the renewal rate. Sam’s Club’s official help search result, updated September 11, 2026, listed annual renewal prices of $60 for Club and $120 for Plus. Treat those as the prices surfaced in that help information, not a guarantee of what your account will be charged; confirm your renewal amount in your membership details.

The offer terms say Sam’s Club may charge the displayed membership price plus applicable taxes at enrollment, then automatically charge the preferred payment method at the membership price in effect on a recurring annual basis until cancellation. Review the auto-renewal setting and the amount shown for your account after signing up.

Compare the two tiers using your own likely use, not the promotional headline alone:
- Compare the current first-year and renewal prices shown at checkout and in your account.
- Estimate whether eligible spending that earns Sam’s Cash could offset the price difference; the listed 2% benefit is not a guaranteed return on every purchase.
- Check whether your typical orders meet the current shipping and delivery thresholds.
- Consider whether early hours or pharmacy, optical, and tire-and-battery benefits are useful to your household.
If those Plus benefits do not match how you shop, Club may be the more suitable tier. Do not assume the introductory price will continue at renewal.
