Yes—Roblox documents CashStar as a partner in its gift-card sales and distribution channel. That does not prove that every message, seller, checkout page, or link using CashStar’s name is genuine. To reduce the risk of a fake checkout, start at Roblox’s gift-card shop and follow the purchase path from there.
What CashStar does for Roblox gift cards
Roblox says gift cards bought through roblox.com/shopgiftcards are sold through its CashStar partner. Roblox’s business purchase terms identify CashStar Inc. as the merchant and distributor, and Roblox Prepaid Company, LLC as the card issuer. On the US shop, Roblox also discloses that clicking to add a card takes you to an external website powered by CashStar. Roblox Support · Roblox CashStar Purchase Terms (Business Customers)
That establishes CashStar’s documented role in Roblox’s gift-card channel. It does not authenticate an unsolicited email or text, a social-media post, an advertisement, or a particular checkout URL. The safest check is to reach the shop from Roblox.com rather than following a link someone sent you.
How to verify a purchase path
- Open Roblox directly. Type Roblox.com into your browser or use a saved official bookmark, then navigate to the gift-card shop. Avoid links in unsolicited messages and ads.
- Check the handoff. Roblox’s US shop says the purchase button leads to an external website powered by CashStar. An external checkout is therefore expected when reached through Roblox’s shop; the partner name alone is not proof that a separate URL is legitimate.
- Confirm the product and issuer. Check whether the listing is a Roblox gift card or a retailer code that may redeem only for Robux. Roblox identifies Roblox Prepaid Company, LLC as the issuer of its gift cards.
- Keep the order confirmation. Use official support channels for order or redemption issues, and never post or send your gift-card PIN publicly.
Roblox gift cards and retailer codes are not always interchangeable
A Roblox gift card can be redeemed for Roblox credit, which can then be used for Robux or other eligible Roblox purchases. Some digital codes sold by online retailers, including Amazon, are redeemable for Robux only and cannot be redeemed for Roblox credit. Read the specific listing’s product description and redemption terms before paying; do not assume every item called a Roblox code works like a Roblox gift card. Roblox Gift Cards

Where to get help if the PIN is missing or a code fails
For a gift card bought online at Roblox.com, Roblox says the PIN is handled through its CashStar partner and directs buyers with digital-purchase questions to CashStar support. For a code that fails redemption, Roblox also directs users to Roblox Support. Keep your order confirmation and card details available for the official support channel, but do not share the PIN with someone who contacts you unexpectedly. Roblox says it does not provide gift-card refunds, so check the terms and contact the appropriate official channel rather than assuming a mistaken purchase can be reversed. Roblox Support: How to redeem and spend your Gift Card
Roblox says most gift cards appear in the recipient’s inbox immediately, although some may take up to 24 hours because of fraud-prevention and security measures. This is Roblox’s guidance, not a guaranteed delivery time.

Red flags: requests for gift-card numbers or PINs
Stop if someone pressures you to buy gift cards to pay a debt, fee, fine, or business, or asks you to transmit the card number and PIN. The Federal Trade Commission warns that scammers create urgency, request gift-card details, and impersonate agencies or businesses. Its guidance is clear: “No real business or government agency will ever tell you to buy a gift card to pay them.” Report suspected gift-card fraud to the gift-card company and the FTC. Roblox also says free Robux codes do not exist. A promise of free Robux in exchange for a PIN or a card photo is not a safe reason to share either.
