No—G FUEL’s September 2025 “end of an era” messaging was reported as a rebrand, not a shutdown announcement. A G FUEL employee later described it as a transformation that included a year-long formula reformulation. The company’s current site still lists products and brand updates, but that activity does not prove its financial health or guarantee future operations.
Why did people think G FUEL was closing?
Around September 2–3, 2025, G FUEL used farewell-style language, including “the end of an era” and “logging out.” The wording sounded like a goodbye, prompting readers to ask whether the energy-drink brand was going out of business.
In a September 3 report, Esports News UK said the announcement was about a rebrand rather than closure and described the messaging as confusing, noting community backlash. That characterization belongs to the outlet; it was not an official statement from G FUEL about the company’s finances.
What was the catch?
The apparent farewell was tied to a brand transformation. On September 12, 2025, Victoria Hana, identified in the LinkedIn byline as a G FUEL employee, described the announcement as never being about closure and said it signaled a year-long formula reformulation. That is an employee’s account of the campaign, not an audited statement about the company’s financial position.

G FUEL’s official Patch Notes page describes a new logo, flavors, merchandise, an enhanced formula, and further community activity. Together with the employee’s account, this supports the rebrand explanation. It does not independently confirm that every announced plan was completed or establish that G FUEL is financially secure.
Is G FUEL still selling products?
G FUEL’s official site currently lists Energy Formula and Hydration Formula product categories. Its FAQ describes Energy Formula powder in 40-serving tubs and 20-count single-serving stick packs, and distinguishes that caffeinated line from caffeine-free Hydration Formula and Sparkling Hydration.

The FAQ gives differing caffeine figures in separate answers: one says 140 mg per serving, another gives 140–150 mg for tubs, and canned drinks are listed at 140 or 300 mg depending on flavor. These are G FUEL’s product claims, and the inconsistency means there is no single figure to apply across the range. Check the current label for the particular product and flavor.

- It supports: the September 2025 message was presented in contemporaneous reporting and a later employee account as a rebrand or transformation announcement, not a closure announcement.
- It shows current site activity: G FUEL’s official pages continue to list products and brand updates.
- It does not establish: the company’s solvency, long-term prospects, or whether it will remain in business indefinitely.
If you are deciding whether to buy a product, treat the current product listing and package label as information about that item—not as evidence about the company’s financial stability.
