Is Fizz available at my address?
Fizz says its mobile service is available in Ontario, but eligibility is address-specific: your home address must be in a Fizz subscription area to sign up. Use Fizz’s coverage map and subscription flow to check your exact address. A general statement that Ontario is served does not mean every address in Southern Ontario qualifies.
Subscription eligibility and mobile coverage are separate questions. Your address determines whether you can join; the coverage option on your plan determines where calls, texts and data are included. Fizz says its map is approximate, and actual reception can vary.
Does Fizz work outside Ontario?
Fizz offers provincial, Canada-wide, and Canada + U.S. coverage options. With Ontario provincial coverage, included data is available in Ontario, and outgoing calls must be made from the province selected for the plan. Is the $11/month price current?
The available official pages do not establish that an $11/month plan is currently available to Southern Ontario residents. Fizz’s general mobile plans page showed a starting price of $20/month when checked on October 4, 2026. Fizz’s Ontario plans page says offers and rates may change without notice and may differ by province.
That leaves the $11 figure unresolved: it could relate to a promotion, timing, or eligibility conditions, but the available information does not confirm which. Treat it as unverified until the live selector displays the price and its terms for your address. Check whether the displayed amount is a recurring base price or a limited offer, what data and coverage it includes, and whether taxes or add-ons are extra.

How to compare Fizz plans before signing up
Fizz describes its plans as customizable, so the current selector—not a general starting-price claim—is the place to confirm the combination available to you. Compare these details before choosing:
- Price and eligibility: Confirm the monthly base price, any promotion’s conditions or duration, and whether taxes are additional.
- Data and network: Check the included data amount and whether 5G is available at the places you use your phone.
- Coverage area: Choose Ontario, Canada, or Canada + U.S. coverage based on where you need service.
- Calls and texts: Verify what is included and whether your calling needs require an add-on.
- Phone and SIM: Check your handset’s compatibility and decide between eSIM and a physical SIM.
Can I bring my own phone to Fizz?
Fizz says a bring-your-own phone must be compatible with its network and VoLTE-certified. Check your specific model using Fizz’s activation instructions before choosing a plan. Fizz offers a free eSIM described as available for same-day activation, as well as physical SIM cards; follow its activation flow to confirm what is available for your device.

How Fizz billing works
Fizz says its mobile plans are prepaid, with payment due at the beginning of each payment cycle. It also says there is no penalty fee for stopping payments. Its Ontario page says the base plan price stays unchanged unless you change the plan, but that should not be read as a guarantee that promotions, add-ons, taxes, or future offers have identical terms.
