Yes, Crumbl announced plans to open stores in Australia after a viral Sydney pop-up in 2024—but the pop-up was not an official Crumbl event, and a confirmed opening date or address has not been established. The US cookie chain’s official store locator, checked on 8 October 2026, did not list an Australian store.
Was the Sydney Crumbl pop-up official?
No. The one-day stall near Bondi Beach in late September 2024 was not run or sponsored by Crumbl. The company told ABC News: “While the pop-up in Australia was not sponsored by Crumbl, we love seeing excitement for Crumbl around the world.” The report did not name the statement’s individual speaker.
ABC News reported that the cookies were genuine Crumbl products bought at a store in Hawaii, then flown to Australia. They were five days old when sold, according to the report. Customers criticised their freshness and the A$17.50-per-cookie price online. The organisers defended the event and later said they would not run another stall.
Calling the event a “fraud” reflects headline framing and online reaction, not an established legal finding: the coverage reviewed does not report a court ruling that the organisers committed fraud.

After the pop-up drew attention, Crumbl said it had been “amazed by the support of fans in Australia” and announced plans to open stores. Reports described the move as accelerating its Australian plans, but did not give an opening date or address. The announcement indicates an intended expansion; it does not mean the Sydney stall was Crumbl’s launch or that Australian stores had opened.

Are there Crumbl stores in Australia now?
The official Crumbl store locator showed no Australian location when checked on 8 October 2026. As a secondary cross-check, FranchiseScope’s Australia tracker listed zero venues in a capture dated 19 August 2026. These checks establish what those sources listed on those dates; they do not rule out a later announcement or prove that no change has occurred since.
No confirmed Australian opening date, address, or later rollout schedule is established here. Crumbl’s locator is dynamic, so the company’s current listings are the most useful place to check for a store before making plans.

What Crumbl’s global popularity does—and does not—tell you
In October 2024, 7NEWS reported Crumbl’s claim that it sells more than one million cookies a day. That is the company’s figure as reported by the outlet, not an independently audited statistic and not a measure of Australian demand or a guarantee of when stores will open.
