What Best Buy’s official page says
Best Buy Canada’s official Boxing Day sale page is already online, but its message says the sale returns in December 2026. A live landing page is not the same as a live, storewide Boxing Day campaign.
The page also displays thousands of discounted products. However, its product feed can include ordinary sales, clearance items, marketplace listings, open-box products and refurbished devices. The number of products shown—or the presence of a discount—does not prove that the annual Boxing Day event has started.

What is “Boxing Day in Summer”?
Best Buy Canada has also used the separate label “Boxing Day in Summer.” The associated page has been indexed with VIP-sale messaging, door-crasher language, in-store offers and limited-quantity terms. It has also referenced a free My Best Buy account, a 60-day Low Price Guarantee for members and up to an additional 15% off select major appliances in stores.
Those details may change, and the available page information does not establish a reliable current end date. Treat this as a separate summer promotion unless Best Buy explicitly identifies it as the regular December Boxing Day event. Should you buy now or wait?
Buying now may make sense when:
- The current price is already attractive and you need the item before December.

Check these details before paying
- Confirm the geography: Make sure you are on
bestbuy.ca. Canadian prices, taxes, shipping, warranties and promotions differ from those on Best Buy U.S. - Identify the seller: Check whether the item is sold by Best Buy or an “Exclusive Retail Partner” or other marketplace seller.
- Check condition: Confirm whether the product is new, open box or refurbished.
- Review fulfilment: Verify delivery timing, shipping costs, pickup availability and local store stock.
- Read the promotion terms: Look for expiry dates, one-per-household rules, membership requirements and in-store-only restrictions.
- Record the price: Save the product page or note the price and date, since listings can change before December.

The relevant Boxing Day pages are on Best Buy Canada’s bestbuy.ca domain. Best Buy U.S. uses different seasonal messaging and should not be assumed to have the same Boxing Day promotion. Canadian shoppers should not use U.S. pricing or availability to judge the Canadian event.
