PCWorld reported on December 1, 2025, that a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate digital code was $59.99 for Cyber Monday, but its report said the offer’s duration was unknown. It does not establish that the code is still listed or available.
What Amazon’s reported deal included
PCWorld’s Mark Hachman reported a $59.99 price for a three-month Game Pass Ultimate code on Amazon during Cyber Monday, December 1, 2025. The article described a digital code delivered to the buyer’s Amazon “Games and Software Library,” which the buyer then registered with an Xbox account; it did not describe a physical card. Read PCWorld’s December 1, 2025 report.
That article is evidence of a past promotion, not a current Amazon listing. It gave no end date, and the present price, seller, inventory, redemption region, and code terms have not been established here. Check those details on Amazon before paying; do not assume the old price or offer remains available.
How the old price compares with Xbox’s current US subscription
As of October 7, 2026, Xbox’s US storefront lists Game Pass Ultimate at $22.99 per month and says the subscription renews automatically unless canceled. At that listed rate, three months would total $68.97 before any applicable taxes. This is a simple comparison with the current US monthly price, not a verified comparison against the monthly price in effect when Amazon ran its 2025 promotion. See the Xbox US Ultimate listing.

What to check before buying a digital code
- Live price and seller: Confirm the current listing price and who is selling the code. The 2025 report does not identify today’s listing or seller.
- Term and delivery: Make sure the listing specifies the subscription duration and whether delivery is digital. The historical offer was a three-month digital code.
- Region and redemption: Check that the code can be redeemed in your account’s country and review the listing’s redemption terms. The historical report does not establish regional restrictions.
- Renewal: The 2025 item was reported as a code, while Xbox’s current monthly subscription listing renews automatically unless canceled. Read the terms for the specific item you buy rather than assuming the code and subscription have identical billing conditions.
