Where to check the IPPB SO call letter
The relevant recruitment is for Specialist Officers in Information Technology and Information Security, listed as advertisement IPPB/HR/CO/RECT./2024-25/04, dated 21 December 2024. IPPB’s careers listing contains recruitment materials, including admit-card links for various positions, results, score cards, interview lists, the online-test information handout and the advertisement: IPPB Current Openings.
- Open the official IPPB Current Openings page.
- Find the Specialist Officer recruitment matching advertisement number IPPB/HR/CO/RECT./2024-25/04.
- Use the call-letter or admit-card link displayed for the relevant post and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Enter the requested candidate details, then download and print the call letter if the link is available.
IPPB’s FAQ says candidates can download call letters from the bank’s website after receiving notification of the examination date. Its FAQ answer to “Where can I download the call letter for the examination” states: “Once you receive a notification regarding the date of the examination, the call letters can be downloaded from www.ippbonline.com.” See the IPPB FAQ. What is known about the 2025 release
Contemporaneous coverage reported that IPPB SO 2025 admit cards were released on 7 February 2025. The historical direct link is not confirmed to be active now, so do not rely on an old article’s download link or assume it still accepts candidate details. The official careers listing is the appropriate place to check for any currently available call-letter materials.

What to bring and check on exam day
Use the exam date, reporting time and venue printed on your own call letter. IPPB’s Specialist Officer information handout warns that latecomers will not be allowed and advises candidates to check the venue in advance.

- Call letter: Bring a printed call letter with a recent passport-size photograph affixed. The handout says the photo should preferably be the same one used in the application.
- Photo ID: Bring a currently valid original photo identity document and a photocopy of that same ID. The name on the call letter should match the ID.
- Accepted ID examples: PAN card, passport, permanent driving licence, voter ID with photograph, bank passbook with photograph, specified official photo IDs, recent college or university ID, Aadhaar/e-Aadhaar with photograph, employee ID in original, or Bar Council identity card with photograph.
- Not accepted: Ration cards and learner’s driving licences.
- Name changes: If the name differs, the handout says supporting documents may be needed, such as a Gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit, as applicable.
- Pen and prohibited items: Bring a ball-point pen. Calculators, books, notebooks, written notes and other electronic devices are not allowed during the examination.
The handout also says biometric data and a photograph will be captured at the venue. Follow its finger-cleanliness and moisture instructions; notify test-centre staff if your thumb is injured or damaged.
