How the estimates compare across sources
An FBref wage table indexed for 2025/26 attributes its figures to Capology and gives more precise estimates for the top three: Martínez at €320,577 per week (€16,670,000 annually), Barella at €231,538 (€12,040,000), and Çalhanoğlu at €213,654 (€11,110,000). Those figures broadly corroborate SalaryLeaks’ ranking, while differing slightly in precision and amounts. FBref’s page was not directly accessible, so this is a secondary cross-check rather than an independently verified contract record.

For a season-level ranking, the rounded SalaryLeaks numbers are easier to read. The more precise FBref-indexed figures should not be treated as proof that a player receives exactly that amount: both sources publish estimates, and neither reviewed source is an official Inter disclosure.

They are reported estimates, not confirmed contract terms
SalaryLeaks says its individual player salaries are researched from Italian football publications and annual salary reporting; its verification marks are tied to reports by established Italian journalists. FBref attributes its table to Capology. These descriptions provide context for the estimates, but do not make the figures equivalent to club-confirmed contract disclosures. Use “estimated” or “reported” when citing them.

Do not confuse player wages with the club’s wage bill
SalaryLeaks also reports a €138.2 million overall squad wage bill including bonuses. That aggregate is not the same thing as guaranteed base wages for each player, and it should not be used to infer any individual’s pay. Transfermarkt’s indexed result gives a separate €102 million gross wage total for Inter’s 2025/26 top eleven including coach Cristian Chivu; its page was not directly accessible, and the different group and stated scope make it unsuitable for a direct comparison with SalaryLeaks’ squad total.
