SalaryLeaks’ 2025/26 estimates put Anatoliy Trubin at the top of Benfica’s wage list, at €74,000 a week (€3.9 million a year). These are estimates, not salaries confirmed by Benfica. A separate preseason table published by Sporty Salaries on July 25, 2025 ranks players differently and gives several much higher figures.

Why another 2025/26 salary list gives different figures
Sporty Salaries published a preseason estimate table on July 25, 2025, with a substantially different ranking. It listed Vangelis Pavlidis at €125,000 per week, Tomás Araújo and Kerem Aktürkoğlu at €85,000, and Trubin at €63,000. The gap between these estimates and SalaryLeaks’ later figures is too large to treat the lists as a single agreed ranking or to average them into a reliable salary. | Anatoliy Trubin | €74,000 weekly; €3.9 million annually | €63,000 weekly; €3 million annually |
Sporty Salaries also describes Benfica’s wage bill as €61 million, including guaranteed salaries, signing fees and bonuses. That figure has a different stated scope from SalaryLeaks’ estimated player-salary total, so the two totals should not be compared as though they measure the same costs. The sources do not provide enough detail to reconcile their figures or confirm which estimate best reflects each player’s contract.
Are Benfica players’ wages officially confirmed?
Neither list is an official Benfica disclosure of individual player pay. Benfica’s official first-team page provides roster context, not salary confirmation. The club said its 2025/26 financial year ran from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, and that its annual report was communicated to Portugal’s CMVM on September 8, 2026. The announcement does not verify individual wages. Read Benfica’s annual-report announcement.
