Innovaccer announced a $275 million Series F on January 9, 2025, to support its strategy of building AI applications on top of its healthcare data platform. The financing included both new capital and a secondary component that provided liquidity to some early investors. Innovaccer did not disclose its latest valuation; TechCrunch reported an approximately $3.45 billion post-money valuation for the primary financing, attributing that estimate to a source familiar with the deal.
How the $275 million financing was structured
TechCrunch reported that the Series F included primary and secondary financing. Primary funding goes to the company; secondary transactions provide liquidity to existing shareholders. Innovaccer CEO Abhinav Shashank said approximately 35% of the funds were allocated to provide liquidity for seed and Series A investors. The full $275 million should therefore not be treated as new operating capital for Innovaccer.
The investors named in the report were B Capital Group, Banner Health, Danaher Ventures, Generation IM, Kaiser Permanente, and M12. TechCrunch’s January 9, 2025 report covers the round and its structure.
What is known about Innovaccer’s valuation
Innovaccer declined to disclose its latest valuation. TechCrunch attributed an approximately $3.45 billion post-money valuation for the primary financing to a source familiar with the deal. That is reported, anonymous-source information—not a valuation confirmed by the company—and it applies to the primary financing, not necessarily every transaction in the round.
For context, Innovaccer announced a $150 million Series E at a $3.2 billion valuation in December 2021. That earlier figure was stated in the company’s own Series E announcement. The two figures come from different rounds and sources, so they should not be read as a company-confirmed, directly comparable valuation history.

Why the company is investing in healthcare AI
Innovaccer’s reported strategy is to build AI applications on its healthcare data platform and existing software suite. The premise is that applications can be more useful when they can draw on connected healthcare data and fit into providers’ operational workflows. Shashank described the ambition to TechCrunch as creating “a one-stop shop for healthcare AI solutions.”
The company’s existing suite was described as supporting value-based care, population health management, and customer relationship management, built on its cloud infrastructure. The Series F was presented as backing a broader AI application layer, with Innovaccer planning to develop some tools itself and partner with or acquire others.

AI products mentioned in the 2025 announcement
TechCrunch reported that Innovaccer planned AI tools for medical scribing, prior authorizations, and denied claims. These were plans reported at the time, not confirmation that each product is now launched or generally available.

- Prior authorization: Assistance with the process of obtaining approval for certain care or services.
- Denied claims: Tools aimed at addressing insurance claims that have been rejected.
The report does not establish product availability, capabilities, pricing, or clinical outcomes for these planned tools.

Danaher’s partnership adds a diagnostics angle
Danaher announced an investment partnership with Innovaccer on January 9, 2025. Its stated aim was to bring digital and diagnostic solutions together in support of precision diagnostics and value-based care. Danaher executive vice president Julie Sawyer Montgomery said the partnership was intended to help providers use data and analytics to generate clinical insights more quickly and at the point of need. These statements describe the partners’ goals; they are not evidence of measured patient outcomes.
In the same announcement, Innovaccer CEO Abhinav Shashank said the company’s mission was to improve health outcomes through its data platform and AI capabilities. Danaher’s announcement outlines the partnership’s stated rationale at its investor-relations site.
What the reported growth figures do—and do not—show
TechCrunch reported that Innovaccer had achieved 50% annual revenue growth in each of the five years before the January 2025 article. It also reported a target of $250 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) for 2025. The growth rate and target were not independently verified in the cited reporting, and the ARR figure was a forward-looking goal rather than a confirmed result.
How to understand the competitive landscape
TechCrunch named Optum and Health Catalyst as competitors in population health management, and Salesforce as a CRM competitor. These comparisons are limited to the categories identified; they do not establish a complete, like-for-like comparison or an overall market ranking. The report also did not establish the relative breadth of competitors’ services, so it does not support declaring a winner.

What the Series F signals for Innovaccer
The financing supports a strategic shift toward AI applications built on healthcare data infrastructure, while the secondary component gave some early investors liquidity. The central question is whether Innovaccer can turn its platform and planned applications into products that providers adopt and that fit effectively into care and administrative workflows. The January 2025 announcements set out that ambition, but do not establish that the planned tools have launched or delivered specific outcomes.
