The Indian Navy invited applications for Short Service Commission officer roles across Executive, Technical and Education entries for the June 2026 (AT 26) course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. Eligibility depends on the entry
There is no single qualification or age rule that applies to every SSC entry. Requirements differ across Executive, Technical and Education branches, including degree subject, minimum marks and date-of-birth window. Many engineering routes specify 60% marks, while Logistics, Law and Education have distinct criteria.
Anyone checking eligibility against this historical notice should use the exact entry row and its accompanying notes in the official PDF. Compare the degree and subject stream, marks requirement, age window, gender and vacancy allocation, and the qualifying-degree marks basis used for shortlisting. The notice’s own wording controls; a broad summary cannot establish eligibility for a particular candidate.

How selection was conducted
- Application scrutiny and shortlisting: Candidates were shortlisted using normalized marks in their qualifying degree, under the criteria in the advertisement.
- SSB notification: The Navy said shortlisted candidates would be informed about their SSB interview by email or SMS.
- SSB interview: Shortlisted applicants attended the interview. The advertisement does not describe a written examination for this recruitment.
- Merit and further conditions: Merit was based on SSB marks. Medical fitness and the other conditions in the notice also applied before appointment or induction.
Because the application window has closed, the notification is useful as a record of that cycle’s process and requirements, not as an application route for new candidates.
