Use the Rewards card before searching
Searching a movie directly on Bing may not associate the search with the promotion. Start from the activity card:
- Open the Microsoft Rewards dashboard.
- Sign in to the Microsoft account that should receive the points.
- Go to the Earn section and find the movie activity card.
- Click the card or its Complete or search link first.
- On the Bing page or tab that opens, search for a genuine movie-related query, such as Interstellar cast.
- Return to Microsoft Rewards → Earn and check whether the card completed.
If the card says “using your phone,” complete the search on your phone in Bing or Edge while signed in to the qualifying account. Microsoft says search earning can depend on the search surface, device, account, and market. See Microsoft’s Rewards guidance.
This is not the normal daily search points counter
The movie card is a separate promotional activity, not simply another guaranteed credit in the ordinary daily Bing-search allowance. A search may appear in your Bing history—or earn an ordinary search point—without completing the movie card.

Avoid random letters, meaningless numbers, automated searches, macros, browser extensions designed to generate searches, and rapid back-to-back submissions. Microsoft says abnormal search behavior can lead to temporary limits; repeated violations can result in suspension or invalidation of points. There is no guaranteed “magic” movie
Microsoft’s published Rewards overview says points can be earned through eligible Bing searches and activities, but it does not provide a definitive list of movie keywords for this promotion. Community reports suggest that adding cast can work more often than searching only a title, but that remains a user-tested workaround—not Microsoft-approved syntax.
If you used the card’s link, searched on the requested device, confirmed the account, and entered a genuine movie-related query, the issue may be tracking or eligibility rather than your movie choice. Check the card again later. If it still does not complete, use Microsoft Rewards Support instead of repeatedly searching.

Is there a guaranteed movie title that completes the task?
