- Age: 20–25 years inclusive, for candidates born from May 2, 2000 through May 1, 2005.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree with at least 60% for General, EWS and OBC candidates, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. A diploma alone did not meet the stated educational criterion.
- Computer proficiency: Expected by the notification.
- Age relaxation: Maximum-age relaxations applied to eligible categories under government guidelines. The full advertisement sets out the applicable category conditions and calculation rules.
Check the full official advertisement for complete eligibility terms rather than applying these figures to another recruitment cycle.
Do not confuse this recruitment with the 2026-27 Regional JAM notice
IDBI’s current openings page lists a separate Regional JAM recruitment for 2026-27. That is not a continuation of the closed 2025-26 pan-India JAM Grade O process. Do not carry over the earlier cycle’s dates, vacancy count or eligibility rules: consult the notification attached to the specific live opening. IDBI’s careers FAQ likewise directs applicants to the details for the relevant vacancy and recruitment process.

How to verify an IDBI Bank job opening
Use IDBI’s official careers and current openings page to check whether a notice is live and to find its associated documents. IDBI says job openings are announced through leading newspapers and its official website. The bank also warns that it has not appointed an agency or individual to recruit on its behalf or collect training charges, commission or similar payments; treat such requests with caution.
