The ICSI CSEET mock test for the July 2024 session was scheduled for July 3, 2024, ahead of the final test scheduled for July 6. It was a past event, not an active mock-test link. The notice’s stated purpose was to help candidates become familiar with remote proctoring.
What was the July 2024 CSEET mock test?
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) scheduled the mock for candidates eligible for the July 2024 Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). Scroll’s July 2, 2024 report reproduced the notice and said the final test for that session was scheduled for July 6 in remote-proctored mode. Read Scroll’s announcement.
The notice described the mock’s purpose as familiarizing candidates with remote proctoring. As reproduced by Scroll, it said: “To familiarize the candidates with the remote proctoring process, the Institute has decided to conduct a mock test for 2 hour’s durations on 03rd July 2024.” The notice did not name an individual speaker.
When was it, and what were the timing instructions?
ICSI’s notice, as reported by Scroll, scheduled the mock for July 3, 2024 and specified a duration of two hours. Candidates were instructed to log in 30 minutes before their stipulated start time. These are details for the July 2024 session, not a current schedule.

What setup did candidates need to complete?
The 2024 announcement told candidates to download Safe Exam Browser in advance on the laptop or desktop they planned to use for both the mock and the final exam. The linked ICSI guide described logging in with a registration number and date of birth to download SEBLite, installing it on a computer, and receiving the exam password separately by SMS or email. See ICSI’s Secure Browser Download Process guide.
That guide is dated June 26, 2024, and its installation steps are session-specific. Do not assume that its software, login procedure, credentials, or the July 2024 access link remains available or applies to a later CSEET session. Check the instructions issued for your own session before installing software or attempting a test.

Where to find current CSEET study resources
For current preparation materials, use ICSI’s CSEET academic page, which lists official study materials, sample question papers, and guideline answers. The page identifies restructured syllabus materials as applicable from the June 2026 session onward. Confirm the syllabus and resources relevant to your exam session on ICSI’s page.
ICSI’s 2024–25 annual report also describes a two-hour CSEET mock before each final test as practice intended to familiarize candidates with remote-proctored online examinations. That retrospective description explains the role of mock tests; it does not establish dates or access instructions for a later session. See ICSI’s 45th Annual Report 2024–2025.
