The Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant 02/2024 batch Stage-I result was reported as declared on December 22, 2023. Candidates were directed to check it through individual login on the Indian Coast Guard recruitment portal; the announcement described a login-based result, not a public merit-list PDF.
How to check the ICG Assistant Commandant result
Scroll’s December 2023 report directed candidates to the official recruitment portal. It did not provide a separate, publicly downloadable result file.
- Open the Indian Coast Guard recruitment portal.
- Look for the result link for Assistant Commandant (02/2024), Stage I of CGCAT.
- Sign in with your individual login details.
- View and download the result, then print a copy for your records.
The portal’s current layout, live login and exact result-page address have not been confirmed. If the old result link is no longer displayed, use the portal to check for official recruitment updates rather than relying on an unverified third-party download.
What “result 2024” refers to
Here, “2024” identifies the Assistant Commandant 02/2024 batch; it does not mean the result was first announced in 2024. Scroll reported that the Stage-I CGCAT result was declared on December 22, 2023, and reproduced the notice as saying it was “available for viewing through individual login.” The announcement was for Stage I, not a final selection list.

What happens after Stage I
The report describes the recruitment process as five stages. Passing or viewing the Stage-I result should not be treated as confirmation of final appointment.
- Stage I: computer-based examination (CGCAT).
- Stage II: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB).
- Stage III: Final Selection Board (FSB).
- Stage IV: medical examination.
- Stage V: induction.
Vacancy figure in the announcement
Scroll reported 46 Assistant Commandant posts for the recruitment drive. That is the reported vacancy count, not the number of candidates who passed Stage I.
