NTA prepared final answer keys for both ICAR AIEEA (PG) and ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) after reviewing candidate challenges, and used them to prepare the 2023 results. The official pages available here do not establish that the 2023 PDFs still have working download links. Start with the official NTA ICAR portal; verify that a link opens the correct 2023 file before relying on it.
Where to look for the 2023 final answer keys
-
Open the NTA ICAR portal, the official starting point for ICAR examination notices and answer-key links.
-
Look for a notice or file specifically identified as the 2023 final answer key. Check whether it is for ICAR AIEEA (PG) or ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) and whether the document itself opens. The current portal lists newer notices and keys; its existence does not confirm that a 2023 file is still available.
-
If no working 2023 file is listed, contact NTA using the details in its 2023 notice: 011-40759000 or [email protected]. Do not substitute a provisional key, a newer-year key, an unofficial mirror, or a candidate scorecard.

The current PG final-answer-key page is dated 29 August 2026. It is not a 2023 download link.
Which exam key do you need?
| Track | Purpose | 2023 exam details |
|---|---|---|
| ICAR AIEEA (PG) | Master’s programme admissions and PG scholarships | Shift 1; 20 subjects, according to NTA’s 2023 results release |
| ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) | Doctoral admissions and JRF/SRF awards | Shift 2; 72 subjects, according to NTA’s 2023 results release |
NTA conducted both computer-based examinations on 9 July 2023. Select the key for the track you took; the PG and Ph.D. files are not interchangeable.

How NTA finalized the 2023 keys
NTA’s 3 August 2023 notice said provisional answer keys, question papers, and recorded responses were made available online, with a challenge window from 3 to 5 August, closing at 11:30 p.m. Candidates could challenge a question for a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. That window has expired.
In its 21 August 2023 results release, NTA said subject experts reviewed the challenges, changes were incorporated, and final keys were used to prepare the results. The key finalised after the challenge process was therefore distinct from the provisional key first posted in August.

Answer key versus scorecard
NTA’s results release said candidates could view, download, and print their own scorecards online after signing in with their application number and date of birth. A scorecard is an individual result record, not a public final-answer-key PDF, and its availability does not prove that the 2023 key remains downloadable.
