The IBPS RRB Clerk 2024 prelims result was announced on September 27, 2024. The result was for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts under CRP RRBs XIII; contemporaneous coverage said candidates could access it through October 4, 2024. That access period has passed, and the old result page’s current availability is not established.
What the 2024 result covered
“RRB Clerk” is the common name used in news coverage for IBPS recruitment to Group B Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts. The official recruitment process was CRP RRBs XIII. This is distinct from IBPS’s separate clerical-cadre recruitment.
IBPS’s notification had tentatively placed the preliminary result in August or September 2024. The result announcement was reported on September 27, 2024. The 2024–25 calendar scheduled Office Assistant prelims for August 3, 4, 10, 17 and 18, and mains for October 6, 2024; these are historical dates, not dates for a current recruitment cycle.
How candidates checked the result
At the time, the reported route was to visit ibps.in, open the recent updates or results section, choose the RRB Clerk prelims result link and sign in. The report said the page would remain available through October 4, 2024. The sources do not establish whether that individual result endpoint still works now, so an old direct link should not be treated as a live result page.

Login details
IBPS says candidates can check result status or scores using their registration number or roll number and their alphanumeric password or date of birth. IBPS gives the date-of-birth format as dd-mm-yy. Use the credentials associated with the application.
Result status, scores and cut-offs
The online examination result includes category- and state-specific cut-off marks, according to IBPS’s FAQ. The result announcement alone does not establish an individual candidate’s score or selection status; those details must be checked in the candidate’s result record when available.
What happened after prelims
Candidates who qualified in prelims could proceed to the mains examination. IBPS’s 2024–25 calendar had scheduled the Office Assistant mains exam for October 6, 2024. Because that date has passed, it is relevant only to the 2024 cycle.

The reported result access window ended October 4, 2024, and current access to the individual endpoint is not confirmed. For a result-access complaint, IBPS’s FAQ directs candidates to its Candidate Grievance Lodging and Redressal mechanism. Consult the official IBPS website for the applicable support route; do not assume the expired result link can still retrieve the record.
