No—applications for IBPS CRP PO/MT-XIV are closed. The official registration and fee-payment window ran from 1 to 21 August 2024 for vacancies of 2025–26. Anyone seeking an active recruitment opportunity should check the latest IBPS PO/MT notification rather than use the old XIV application details.

Is the IBPS PO/MT-XIV application still open?

No. IBPS set 1–21 August 2024 as the registration and fee-payment period for CRP PO/MT-XIV. The notification’s examination and allotment dates were tentative: prelims in October 2024, mains in November 2024, interviews in January or February 2025, and provisional allotment in April 2025. These dates belong to the historical XIV cycle, not a current application window. IBPS CRP PO/MT-XIV detailed notification.

What did the 4,455-post headline mean?

The headline refers to a vacancy figure associated with the XIV recruitment, but the official material available here does not establish the exact total or a bank-wise and category-wise breakdown. Check the vacancy annexure in the official notification and any updates before relying on 4,455 as a confirmed figure.

IBPS describes vacancies as indicative. Provisional allotment depends on the actual vacancies reported by participating banks, so a headline total should not be treated as a guaranteed number of appointments.

How did the XIV selection process work?

  1. Preliminary online examination: candidates first took the prelims.
  2. Main online examination: candidates who qualified in prelims and were shortlisted could proceed to the mains.
  3. Common interview: shortlisted mains candidates were called for an interview.
  4. Provisional allotment: allotment depended on vacancies reported by participating banks.

The notification contains the formal selection rules and schedule. Consult it for the applicable details rather than assuming that dates or procedures carry over to another cycle.

Where should applicants look for current IBPS PO recruitment?

IBPS subsequently issued separate PO/MT-XV and PO/MT-XVI cycle materials. Each cycle has its own notice, dates, vacancies and eligibility rules; XIV is not the current application cycle. See the official PO/MT-XV notification and the PO/MT-XVI application portal. Confirm the latest notice and whether its application window is open before taking action.
