Hublot and designer Samuel Ross celebrated their collaboration in London on March 4, 2026, at an event marking the launch of the limited-edition Big Bang Unico SR_A by Samuel Ross All Black. Hublot describes it as the first SR_A signature watch to use the brand’s in-house Unico chronograph movement. The release announces the watch but does not give its price, production quantity, or current availability.
What Hublot and Samuel Ross celebrated in London
The event took place at CÉ LA VI London, on the rooftop of the new Glass Cube building designed by architect Renzo Piano. A Hublot Japan press release published March 6, 2026, says the March 4 gathering brought together people from fashion, design, and culture. Hublot Japan’s announcement centered on the new Big Bang Unico SR_A by Samuel Ross All Black.
The watch extends a partnership Hublot says began in 2020. Before this release, the partners had developed three SR_A Tourbillon editions. The All Black is distinct from those earlier Tourbillons: Hublot identifies it as the first SR_A signature model powered by its in-house developed and manufactured Unico chronograph movement.
What is known about the 2026 All Black Unico
Hublot’s announcement identifies the watch as limited-edition and emphasizes its all-black design, the Unico chronograph movement, and the collaboration’s focus on structure, materials, and contemporary industrial design. The reviewed announcement does not provide a full technical specification sheet, case dimensions, edition size, retail price, or current stock status. “Limited-edition” alone does not establish how many watches will be made.

How the collaboration developed
Ross first crossed paths with Hublot after winning the Hublot Design Prize in 2019. The company announced him as an official ambassador in 2020, when it unveiled his REFORM sculpture. Hublot describes Ross, Founder and Creative Director of A-COLD-WALL, as a designer whose work crosses disciplines; the brand highlights shared interests in materials, technique, and innovation. The 2026 Unico should therefore be understood as a new chapter, not the first Hublot–Ross watch. It moves the SR_A signature into the Unico chronograph family after the earlier Tourbillon editions.

Specifications often associated with the collaboration belong to the 2022 Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross, not the 2026 All Black Unico. In its May 18, 2022 release, Hublot called the Tourbillon Ross’s first wristwatch collaboration with the brand. Its listed details were:
