Is HSSC constable registration open now?
No. Haryana Staff Selection Commission’s Advertisement No. 14/2024 invited applications from 10 September to 24 September 2024, closing at 11:59 p.m. The headline’s word “today” referred to 24 September 2024. The registration period has ended.
The notice covered candidates qualified through the Group-C Common Eligibility Test and stated that no application fee was required. Those details apply to that 2024 recruitment, not automatically to later vacancies. Check HSSC’s official advertisements listing for current notices and corrections.

How is the 2026 HSSC constable recruitment different?
Advertisement No. 01/2026 was a separate recruitment, not an extension or reopening of the 2024 application window. Its application deadline was 11:59 p.m. on 25 January 2026. HSSC instructed candidates who had applied under Advertisement No. 14/2024 to apply afresh for the 2026 recruitment.
HSSC’s 2026 notice said the exam date would be communicated separately. The commission’s public-notice listing later included July 2026 physical screening test notices for constable posts under Advertisement No. 01/2026, showing that process had moved beyond initial registration. Consult HSSC’s public-notice listing for notices relevant to that recruitment.

Use HSSC’s official advertisement listing and public-notice listing to verify any newly announced recruitment, deadline change, or selection update. Read the specific advertisement and its corrigenda: eligibility, vacancy categories, dates, and selection stages can differ between recruitments. Do not treat an old application link or the 2024 headline as evidence that registration is open.
