To find a Bluehost receipt, sign in to the Bluehost Portal, open Billing → Orders, locate the transaction, and select View Receipt. From there, view the billing record and download it if the option is available, or print it to save a PDF. The steps below follow Bluehost’s current portal guidance, which may change as the interface is updated.
View a Bluehost receipt or invoice
- Sign in to the Bluehost Portal using an account with billing access.
- Select Billing in the left-hand menu.
- Open the Orders tab to see the account’s transactions.
- Find the hosting, domain, renewal, or add-on transaction and select View Receipt.
- Use the available portal or browser controls to download or print the receipt.
Bluehost’s current instructions use Billing → Orders. If you see different labels, you may be using a different or migrated portal interface; confirm you are signed in to the correct account and consult the help options available in the portal.
Find an older payment
In Billing → Orders, select Filters and choose a transaction date range. Apply the filter to narrow the list; you can also filter by the payment method used. If the transaction is still missing, check whether it was made through another Bluehost account or email address.
Download or print the receipt
Open the transaction with View Receipt. Use the portal’s download control if one appears. If it does not, open the browser’s print dialog and choose Save as PDF. The exact controls can vary by portal or browser, so a separate PDF download is not guaranteed for every receipt.

For your records, use a filename that includes the transaction date, invoice number, and service, such as 2026-10-08-invoice-12345-domain.pdf. Check that the saved file opens and that its details are legible before relying on it for bookkeeping or a business expense record.
What information appears on a receipt?
Bluehost says a receipt can show the customer name, billing address, phone number, invoice number, transaction date, amount, and purchase or renewal description. The details reflect information on file when the payment was processed. If you need the document for tax or business records, verify the name, address, date, amount, and service description before saving it.

When will a new receipt appear?
Bluehost says the first receipt associated with account creation may not appear until midnight GMT on the purchase date. Receipts for later transactions are expected immediately after successful payment. Bluehost also says processed transactions are recorded in Billing History and a copy is emailed to the account administrator; check the account email, including other addresses you may have used, if you cannot find the record in the portal.
Why was I charged?
A charge may be for automatic hosting or domain renewal, a manual payment, or an add-on or other service. Bluehost says it processes renewal payments on the service’s renewal date. A canceled hosting plan also does not necessarily mean every domain or add-on associated with the account was canceled.

To identify a charge, compare the transaction with your bank statement and account records:
- Note the statement date, amount, and merchant description.
- Sign in to each Bluehost account you may have used, including accounts associated with older email addresses or different domains.
- Open Billing → Orders and compare the date, amount, and transaction description.
- Check your account email for a receipt and look for the domain or service named in the transaction.
- If the charge remains unidentified, contact Bluehost Billing or Support through the options shown in your account or the help center.
Do not treat a missing email receipt by itself as proof of fraud: the payment may be tied to another login, email address, or automatic renewal. If you still do not recognize the charge after checking your accounts, contact Bluehost and your bank or card issuer promptly.

If you cannot find or open the receipt
Billing is missing from the menu
- Confirm that you are signed in to the right Bluehost account and that your user has billing access.
- Sign out and back in, then try a current desktop browser.
- Temporarily disable extensions that may block portal controls.
- If the account uses a legacy or migrated interface, contact Bluehost Support if you still cannot locate billing tools.
The Orders list is empty or the payment is missing
- Check the account email, associated domain, and other Bluehost logins you may have used.
- Widen the date range in Filters and check the payment method if useful.
- For a newly processed payment, allow for the timing described above, particularly for the first account-creation receipt.
- Use the bank statement or emailed receipt to identify the likely account or transaction, then ask Bluehost Billing for help if it remains absent.
The receipt will not open or download
- Refresh the page and try again in another browser or a private window.
- Check whether the browser blocked a pop-up or download.
- Try the browser’s print dialog and save the receipt as a PDF.
- If the order is visible but its receipt is not, contact Bluehost Billing or Support.
An automatic payment failed
Bluehost says it notifies customers when an automatic payment fails. Check the account email and payment method, then update the payment method or contact Support if you cannot resolve the issue.

Bluehost says contact information on a receipt cannot be changed after the transaction has been processed. Update your billing details before the next payment. If an existing receipt has a legally or tax-critical error, contact Support to ask what options are available; do not assume that the original record can be edited or reissued.

A receipt does not cancel a service or guarantee a refund
Finding a receipt documents a transaction; it does not change renewal settings or establish refund eligibility. Manage renewal or cancellation separately in your account. Refund eligibility depends on the service and billing arrangement: Bluehost’s refund policy describes a 30-day guarantee for certain hosting services and lists exclusions, including domains, monthly terms, Cloud Hosting, AI products, setup fees, and other add-ons. Check the policy for the service and transaction in question.
