How to ask for a live person in Uphold chat
- Open the official Uphold mobile app or website, or go to Uphold’s official Help Center.
- Choose the support chat feature and describe the issue briefly.
- Ask directly to speak with a live person if the automated bot is handling the conversation.
- Share only the information needed to identify and understand the issue. Do not share your password, 2FA codes, or recovery credentials.
Uphold’s US and Canada agreement says customers can “chat with our automated bot or live personnel via the support chat feature in the mobile app or on the website.” That confirms live personnel may be available through chat, not that every chat will be transferred to an agent or answered within a particular time.
If you cannot log in to your account
Use Uphold’s official Submit a request page and select the option for being unable to log in. The form also distinguishes issues such as a compromised account and login or 2FA trouble, so choose the category that most closely matches what happened and provide the requested details.
If you suspect someone has accessed your account, use Uphold’s official Help Center security resources and report the matter through official support channels.
