To stop prediction-market messages, first identify whether each one is a promotional email, an account-activity email, a push alert, or an in-app notification. These often have separate controls. On Kalshi, use the link in a marketing email to change promotional subscriptions and use Notification settings for account-activity email. On Polymarket US, self-exclusion stops push notifications and marketing about market events, but it also restricts trading. The right steps depend on the platform and message type.
First, identify which messages you want to stop
Promotional email and account or trading activity email are not necessarily managed together. Turning off marketing may leave trade confirmations, settlement notices, or security messages enabled. Likewise, email, push, and in-app notifications may have separate controls.
- Promotional email: newsletters, product updates, recommendations, promotions, surveys, or similar marketing.
- Account-activity email: trade confirmations, settlements, transfers, price movements, or social alerts.
- Push or in-app alerts: messages delivered through the app rather than by email.
- Security messages: sign-in codes, password resets, verification notices, and security alerts that may continue even when marketing is disabled.
If you use more than one service, check each separately. Controls and labels are not interchangeable across platforms.
How to stop Kalshi emails and alerts
Turn off account-activity email
- On the web, open Menu → Settings → Notifications. Kalshi also links to the notification settings page from its help article, Manage your Kalshi email notifications.
- Expand the relevant notification category and switch off its Email option.
- Repeat for any other categories you no longer want by email. Changes save automatically.
Email, Push, and In-app are separate channels. You can turn off email for a category while keeping its push or in-app notifications. Some email toggles may only be available on the web, so use the website if an option is missing in the app. Pausing push notifications in the app affects push only; it does not turn off email.

Unsubscribe from marketing email
Open a Kalshi marketing email and use the unsubscribe or preferences link at the bottom. In Subscription Preferences, you can choose which listed topics and channels to receive. Topics include product updates, market recommendations, live market updates, newsletters, ideas, promotions, and surveys. Selecting “Unsubscribe from all” stops marketing email and marketing push, but does not turn off account-activity email. Kalshi’s privacy policy also says promotional email can be stopped through the provided unsubscribe link: Kalshi Inc Privacy Policy, effective September 12, 2026.
To receive marketing again later, resubscribe through Subscription Preferences. Turning account-activity email back on does not necessarily restore a marketing subscription.

Reduce trade email instead of disabling it
If you want fewer trade messages rather than none, Kalshi documents quantity- or dollar-amount thresholds and web-only batching for maker-side trade messages. The available batching intervals are 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, or 12 hours. Check the web notification settings for these options; availability may differ by category.
Messages that may continue
Kalshi says password resets, email or account verification, sign-in codes, security alerts, and address-change notices may still be sent after you unsubscribe because they help secure the account. If account-activity email continues after you change its setting, check the message type and the matching category first. For a persistent problem, contact Kalshi support with the email subject, the date and time received, and a screenshot of your notification settings.

Polymarket US: stopping market-event messages requires self-exclusion
Polymarket US documents self-exclusion as the option that stops push notifications and marketing about market events. It is not a standard email-preference switch: while it is active, you cannot open new positions or deposit.
- In the US app, go to Account → Responsible Trading → Self-exclusion.
- Choose one of the listed periods: one month, three months, six months, one year, or permanently.
- Confirm the selection. Polymarket US says self-exclusion takes effect upon confirmation and that an account is automatically reinstated at the end of a fixed term.
During self-exclusion, you can close open positions or leave them to settle, and you may withdraw available balance. Because this restricts trading as well as messages, use it only if you want that broader break. The Polymarket US Trust & Safety page describes the effect: Self-exclusion.

The available Polymarket US information does not establish a separate routine unsubscribe flow for marketing email or individual push categories. These instructions apply to the US app, not automatically to the separate Polymarket.com website.

The Polymarket Help Center’s June 25, 2026 account-deletion article says users must close all open positions and withdraw funds before deleting an account. The profile and associated personal data are removed under the privacy policy, subject to possible legally required retention, but previous transaction history remains visible on-chain. Account deletion is consequential and is not presented as the routine way to stop promotional messages. For website support, Polymarket lists website chat and [email protected]; for the US app, it lists [email protected]. If you cannot find an email control for your platform, ask its support team where the current setting is located.
Manifold: confirm the current settings before relying on old instructions
Manifold company posts from 2022 said users could adjust email and in-app preferences in notification settings, opt out of future email types, and unsubscribe from weekly trending-market recommendations at the bottom of the email. Those posts are historical guidance; current labels and paths have not been established here. Check Manifold’s current notification settings or help information before relying on those directions.
