To register for Binance, create a personal account in the official app or on Binance’s website, verify your email address or phone if prompted, then complete identity verification. Binance says new users must reach “Verified” status before they can use services such as crypto deposits, trading, and withdrawals. Available signup methods, verification documents, limits, and services depend on your country or region.
How do I register for Binance? The steps below explain what to prepare, how to create an individual account, and how to complete the verification flow shown for your location.
Before you start
Use Binance’s official app or website, and make sure you are eligible to use the service where you live. Binance’s app-support list is not a guarantee that every product, payment method, or feature is available in a listed country. Check current eligibility and local restrictions before proceeding. Binance’s supported-country list was updated August 18, 2026.
- Have access to the email address or phone number you plan to register with.
- Know your actual country of residence. Binance requires it to match the country associated with your identity documents.
- Have a genuine, unexpired government-issued identity document accepted for your country or region. The supported document types vary, so check the options in your account flow rather than assuming a passport, driver’s license, or other document will be accepted.
- Submit personal information and identity documents only through Binance’s official account flow. Do not send them to an unofficial person or website.
Create a personal Binance account
Binance’s app guide lists email, phone, Apple, and Google as signup options. Which options appear can vary by app and region. For an individual account, select the personal-account path—not the entity-account path. Binance says the account type cannot be changed after registration. - Open the official Binance app and tap Sign up, then Create a Binance Account. Choose the personal-account option and a registration method shown in your app.
- If registering by email or phone, enter the address or number you can access. Review and agree to Binance’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Enter the six-digit verification code Binance sends to your email address or phone number within 30 minutes.
- Create a password with at least eight characters, including at least one uppercase letter and one number, as specified in Binance’s guide.
- Continue to identity verification when prompted. Binance may also offer an optional referral code; it is not required to register, and Binance says a code linked to the account cannot be modified later.
If you use Apple or Google signup, follow the instructions displayed in the official app. The cited guide’s six-digit-code and password directions apply to its email/phone route; follow the live flow for the method you choose.
Complete identity verification
Account creation is not the same as verification. Binance says new users must complete its “Verified” identity verification to access products and services such as crypto deposits, trades, and withdrawals. - Open the verification flow: in the app, go to User Center → Unverified; on the website, go to User Center → Identification.
- Select your country of residence and review the requirements and accepted identity documents shown for that location. Binance warns that the country must be consistent with your ID documents.
- Enter your personal information carefully and make sure it matches your identity document. Binance cautions that submitted personal details may not be changeable after confirmation.
- Select an accepted document type and upload clear images of the full document. Provide both sides if the flow requests them.
- Complete the selfie or face-verification step requested on screen.
- Submit the application and wait for Binance to review it and notify you by email. Binance does not give a guaranteed completion window in its guide.
If Binance rejects the submission, use Binance Support and the instructions in your current account flow to resolve it; do not assume a cause or repeatedly submit different documents without checking what Binance requests.
Secure the account after signup
Binance Support recommends enabling at least one form of two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect the account. Find the security controls in your account and enable an available 2FA method. Keep recovery information private and do not share verification codes with anyone claiming to help you.

What can vary by country or region?
App support, identity-verification requirements, limits, and product availability are separate questions. Binance says requirements and limits vary by location, and additional verification may depend on region or selected payment channels. An app appearing in an app-supported country does not establish that every Binance feature is offered there. Check the current account flow and Binance’s location-specific notices before trying to use a particular service.
