To get Apple Card Monthly Installments (ACMI), choose the installment option during an eligible Apple checkout and qualify for the credit. Simply paying for a device with Apple Card in one transaction does not make it interest-free: the standard variable purchase APR applies to that purchase. ACMI is a U.S. offer, and eligibility and terms can change.
How Apple Card monthly installments work
ACMI divides the price of an eligible Apple product into monthly payments at 0% APR on the installment balance. You must select ACMI at checkout through an Apple Store, Apple.com, the Apple Store app, or an Apple phone order; credit approval and available credit are required. Apple describes the offer on its financing and credit page.
Each device has its own installment plan. The amount financed reduces your available Apple Card credit, and the final payment may be adjusted to reconcile the product price with payments already made. Apple explains how to view and pay Apple Card Monthly Installments.
Which Apple products qualify, and how long are the terms?
Apple lists iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, and certain accessories as potentially eligible. The exact item and term matter, so check the product at checkout and Apple’s current ACMI product eligibility information.

What does 0% APR cover—and what does it not cover?
Apple Support says, “Interest never accrues on Apple Card Monthly Installment balances.” That applies to the qualifying installment balance, not automatically to every charge on the order or to other Apple Card balances.

Apple Support listed a 17.49%–27.74% variable APR range for new Apple Card accounts as of July 1, 2026. That dated range is not a guaranteed rate for an individual; existing cardholders should check their own account’s APR. See Apple’s guidance on avoiding or lowering Apple Card interest charges.
How to choose ACMI at checkout
- Shop through an eligible Apple channel: an Apple Store, Apple.com, the Apple Store app, or an Apple phone order.
- Check that the exact product is eligible and note its installment term. For an iPhone, select AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon when prompted.
- At payment, explicitly choose Apple Card Monthly Installments rather than a one-time Apple Card payment.
- Review the financing amount, taxes, shipping, payment schedule, and any other charges. Those amounts may not all receive the 0% installment treatment.
- Complete the application or checkout subject to credit approval and your available credit, then monitor the device’s installment plan and payments.
What to compare before financing
ACMI can spread an eligible device’s cost without interest on its installment balance, but it is not the same as making the entire order interest-free. Before choosing it, compare the exact product’s eligibility, the amount actually financed, the APR on taxes and shipping, the length of the plan, any iPhone carrier requirement, your available credit, and whether the monthly payments fit your budget. Apple’s financing terms are subject to change, so use the checkout terms in effect for your order.
