The Bloc is at 700 S. Flower Street / 700 W. 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017. The address and best entrance depend on how you arrive:
- Driving: Use 700 S. Flower Street for the garage. The Bloc says the Flower Street entrance is on the driver’s left when traveling south on Flower.
- Walking or rideshare: Use 700 W. 7th Street. The grand retail entrance is on 7th Street between Hope and Flower Streets; additional pedestrian access is on Flower and Hope Streets.
- Metro: Follow the station directions below for the pedestrian portal into the plaza.
How do you get to The Bloc by Metro?
- Take Metro rail to 7th Street/Metro Center.
- Follow signs for the Hope Street exit. The Bloc’s official directions say to take the entrance on the right after exiting the turnstiles.
- Use the station-to-plaza entrance. The Bloc locates it on Plaza Level behind Starbucks.
The Bloc publishes portal hours of Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m.–10 p.m., and Sunday closed. These are the destination’s stated hours, not Metro station hours; confirm access before a late or Sunday visit. See The Bloc’s visitor directions.
How do you get to The Bloc from Union Station?
From L.A. Union Station, Metrolink advises taking Metro B or D Line to 7th Street/Metro Center. At the station, follow the Hope Street exit directions above. Check the current schedules and service notices for your travel date. Metrolink’s directions to The Bloc provide the transfer guidance.

Which bus goes to The Bloc?
There is no single best bus route without knowing your starting point. A Los Angeles City Planning document lists numerous local, rapid, express, and regional routes in the vicinity, but it is not a live timetable and should not be used to choose a current departure.
Enter your origin and destination in Metro’s trip planner or use the official Metro app for current directions, arrivals, and alerts. If your suggested bus is operated by another agency, verify its schedule and service status with that operator.
Where do you park, and what does it cost?
The Bloc garage’s Flower Street entrance is the destination’s recommended driving access. The parking operator also lists entrances on 8th Street and Hope Street. It reports 24/7 facility access, no in-and-out privileges, and a vehicle height limit of 6 ft 2 in. Check the parking operator’s current garage information before setting out.

The Bloc says accessible parking is available on all nine garage levels, reached from Flower Street; look for blue symbols near elevators. It also describes ramps, elevators, and directional signage. The destination lists ChargePoint stations on the valet level and self-parking levels 5 and 7, priced at $2 per hour for the first three hours and $20 per hour after that. Confirm current access and charger availability with The Bloc before relying on either service.
