McDonald’s is advertising a free 10-piece Chicken McNuggets offer for first-time app users in the U.S., but it is not a no-purchase giveaway: you must opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards and make a first purchase of at least $1. The offer is valid once through October 31, 2026, at participating restaurants, subject to its in-app terms.
Who qualifies for the free McNuggets offer?
McDonald’s’ U.S. deals page describes a free 10-piece McNuggets offer for first-time app users. To qualify, opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards and make a first purchase of $1 or more. Tax is not included in the offer.
The first-time-user restriction matters: existing app users should not assume they are eligible. McDonald’s says the promotion is available at participating locations, and its general terms and conditions note that individual offers can have their own conditions and location limits. Check the deal in your account and its terms before ordering.
How to find and redeem the offer
- Download or open the McDonald’s app and opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
- Open the app’s Deals section and look for the first-time-user 10-piece McNuggets offer. McDonald’s says it may take up to 48 hours to appear.
- If it appears, make your first purchase of at least $1 at a participating restaurant, then follow the instructions shown with the deal in the app.
- Before ordering, review the offer’s in-app terms and expiry date. Tax is excluded, and the offer may not be available at every restaurant.
McDonald’s publishes the offer but does not establish one universal sequence of checkout buttons for every app version. Use the instructions displayed with the deal in your own account.

When does the offer expire?
McDonald’s says the offer is valid once through the last day of the month. As of October 8, 2026, that means the stated monthly window ends October 31, 2026. The offer must also appear in your account and be available at your participating restaurant; check the app for the terms that apply to you.
