What happened to eBay Bucks?
eBay discontinued the eBay Bucks Rewards Program on April 2, 2024, and no longer issues new offers or vouchers. eBay’s help page retains instructions for redeeming certain unused value connected with refunds or cancellations; this is not a way to earn new Bucks. See eBay’s eBay Bucks guidance.
Where can you find cashback on eBay purchases?
Cashback portals
Third-party shopping portals may offer cashback when you start at their eBay page and complete an eligible purchase. Offers are conditional, not a guaranteed reward for every eBay order. For example, TopCashback’s US eBay offer varies by category and sets a $50 maximum cashback per item. Rakuten’s eBay shopping terms say eligibility and rates depend on category and may change; they set a $50 maximum cashback per order.
Payment-card rewards
A general-purpose cashback card may earn rewards on an eBay purchase, subject to the card issuer’s current terms and any purchase or merchant-category exclusions. The eBay-branded card is not a current alternative to eBay Bucks: Synchrony says the eBay Mastercard Rewards Program ended March 24, 2026. Check Synchrony’s eBay account and FAQ page for details. No particular general-purpose card offer is established here.

How to use a cashback portal for an eBay order
- Open the portal’s current eBay offer page. Confirm that the offer is available in your country and note the listed category rates, caps, and exclusions.
- Check whether your purchase type qualifies. The rules may distinguish eligible Buy It Now purchases from winning bids, and may exclude particular categories or transactions.
- Read the conditions on coupons and other discounts. Using a code or offer not recognized by the portal may affect eligibility. Follow the live offer’s terms rather than assuming every discount stacks with cashback.
- Start from the portal before completing the purchase. TopCashback’s US page says to begin with an empty basket and click through to eBay. Follow the portal’s instructions for the purchase session.
- Save your order confirmation. If the purchase does not track, TopCashback’s US page identifies a 100-day window to submit a missing-cashback claim. Check the portal’s current claim instructions and deadline.
