On an iPhone, open Wallet > Apple Card, tap the card-number icon, and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to see the virtual card number, its expiration date, and its three-digit security code (CVV). The titanium card does not display these details; Wallet is where you retrieve them.
Find your Apple Card details on iPhone
- Open the Wallet app.
- Tap Apple Card.
- Tap the card-number icon.
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
Wallet then displays the virtual card number, its expiration date, and its security code. Apple’s current instructions are for Apple Card in the United States; Apple says the card is available to qualifying applicants in the U.S. and is issued by Goldman Sachs Bank USA. See Apple’s card-number instructions.
Find the details on iPad
- Open Settings, then tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Tap Apple Card, then tap the Info tab.
- Tap Card Information.
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
The virtual card number, expiration date, and security code appear after authentication. Apple’s interface wording can change; its current support page says to use the latest version of the relevant operating system rather than naming a fixed minimum version. If you do not see the card-number icon on iPhone, update iOS.
Which Apple Card number and expiration date should you use?
Apple Card has separate identifiers for manual card entry and Apple Pay. Use the expiration date shown with the particular number you are entering.

| Detail | What Wallet shows | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Virtual Apple Card number | Full number, expiration date, and security code | Manual entry on a website or in an app that does not accept Apple Pay. Apple says it can be used where Mastercard is accepted, subject to merchant acceptance and account eligibility. See Apple Card. |
| Titanium card number | Only the last four digits and the card’s expiration date | Identifying the physical card. Wallet does not provide the full titanium card number in the documented view. |
| Apple Pay card number | Last four digits | Identifying an Apple Pay card associated with a device. |
| Apple Pay transaction credentials | Handled automatically by Apple Pay | In-store, in-app, or supported online purchases using Apple Pay instead of typing card details. |
For Apple Pay, the merchant receives a device-specific number and transaction-specific security credentials rather than the underlying card number. If checkout offers Apple Pay, you can use it without copying the virtual number or typing the security code. See Apple Pay and Apple Wallet.
Find the titanium card’s last four digits
On iPhone, open Wallet > Apple Card, tap the card-number icon, authenticate, and tap Additional Card Numbers. On iPad, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Apple Card > Info > Card Information > Additional Card Numbers. Wallet displays the titanium card’s last four digits and its expiration date, as well as the last four digits of the separate Apple Pay card number. It does not show the full titanium card number. Details are documented in Apple’s support article.

What CVV means on Apple Card
Apple calls it the security code; checkout forms may call the same three-digit field CVV or CVC. For manual entry, use the code shown alongside the virtual card information after authentication. It is not printed on the titanium card.
Use Advanced Fraud Protection for a changing security code
Advanced Fraud Protection makes the three-digit security code change periodically after it has been viewed in Wallet or autofilled through Safari. The feature requires the latest versions of iOS or iPadOS, according to Apple’s instructions. When it is active, a clock icon appears beside the code.

Apple says rotating the code does not affect existing recurring purchases and subscriptions: merchants generally use the code when the payment method is first set up. For a new manual purchase, check the current code in Wallet immediately before submitting payment.
Request a new virtual card number
If the virtual number may have been exposed, Apple provides an option to replace it. On iPhone, open Wallet > Apple Card, tap the card-number icon, authenticate, and tap Request New Card Number. Follow Apple’s prompts to complete the request. See Apple’s card-number support page.

- You cannot authenticate: Wallet requires Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode to reveal card details. Apple describes this protection in its Apple Card security documentation.
- You have only an Apple Watch: Apple says card details are available on compatible Apple Watch devices, but its current card-number guide gives detailed navigation only for iPhone and iPad. Use a supported iPhone or iPad for the documented steps; do not rely on an unverified Watch menu path.

If your card, device, or details may be compromised
- Lost titanium card: Lock the card first, then request a replacement. Apple explains the process in Lock or unlock Apple Card.

- Suspected exposure or suspicious activity: Consider locking the card and requesting a new virtual number; Apple also lists closing the account as an option. Report a transaction issue through Apple’s dispute instructions. For account updates and protection options, see Apple’s account information guidance.
