If the location option is convenient, selecting it lets the finder use your device’s location instead of requiring you to type an area.

Use one search method at a time and make sure the result reflects the place you actually care about. A city name can match more than one locality, while a state search can produce a long list that requires additional sorting. If the first result set is too broad, repeat the search with a ZIP code or a more specific city.
What appears in a store result
Nearby results associate each branch with a street address and an hours or open-status display. Those details belong to the individual listing, not to every Burlington store in the region. Read the complete address before deciding which branch is practical, then inspect the hours shown on that same result.
The locator also includes Get Directions. Use that action only after identifying the correct branch. It is the handoff from Burlington’s location information to route planning, so the destination should be checked again in the navigation step.

- Open the official finder. Go to https://www.burlington.com/stores. Starting with Burlington’s own locator keeps the address and hours tied to the company’s store listing.
- Provide a location. Enter the ZIP code, city, or state that best describes where you want to shop. Alternatively, choose the page’s location-based option if you want it to use your current position.
- Review the returned branches. Read each result’s street address and its displayed hours or open status. Do not select a store solely because it appears first; compare the branches that are realistic for your trip.
- Compare the candidates. Consider the distance from your starting point, the exact address, and the schedule shown for that specific branch. If two stores are nearby, the hours may still differ.
- Select the intended store’s directions action. Click Get Directions on the result you chose. Before beginning the trip, confirm that the destination in the navigation view matches the street address you read in Burlington’s listing.
- Check the listing again when timing matters. Hours and open status should be treated as current, location-specific information. Reopen the selected store’s result near the time you plan to leave, especially if your visit is close to a holiday.

Write down or copy the address of your final choice before leaving the locator. That gives you a reference if the navigation screen displays several similarly named destinations.
When the closest store is not the best choice
A branch can be geographically close yet unsuitable for your schedule. Compare the displayed open status and hours before committing. If the nearest result does not fit, return to the other results instead of assuming all branches close at the same time.
Get reliable directions to the correct address
The Get Directions action is attached to each store result. Select it from the listing you have already checked, then review the destination that your navigation service receives.

- Match the navigation destination’s street address to the address in Burlington’s result.
- Check that the city or locality is the one you searched for, particularly when several branches have similar names.
- Make sure the route begins from the place you actually intend to leave, rather than an old or default starting point.
- If the route screen offers multiple destinations, choose the one matching the Burlington address.

If you change your destination
Do not reuse directions created for one branch after deciding to visit another. Return to the other store’s result and use its own Get Directions action so the route is tied to the new address.
Browse by state and city with the Burlington directory
If you prefer browsing to entering a location in the finder, open Burlington’s state store directory. It organizes locations by state and then by city.
- Open https://stores.burlington.com/.
- Choose the state where you want to shop.
- Choose the relevant city from the state’s city-level listings.
- Review the available store entry and use its location details to identify the branch.

Check hours for the exact visit
Store hours are not a single Burlington-wide schedule. The official locator associates hours or open status with individual store results, and retrieved examples showed that schedules can differ among locations.

Use the displayed status correctly
Read the hours on the same result as the address you selected. An “open” or “closed” indicator is a current status associated with that branch at the time you view it; it is not a guarantee that another store has the same status. For a future visit, read the listed schedule as well as the current indicator.
Plan around holidays carefully
The official material confirms that you should check the chosen store’s listing near the visit, but it does not establish a universal holiday-hours policy. If your trip falls on or near a holiday, reopen the exact branch listing close to departure and rely on the hours shown there rather than a general assumption about Burlington stores.

The search returns too many stores
Narrow the search from a state to a city, or from a city to a ZIP code. A more specific input makes it easier to compare addresses and schedules without scanning an unnecessarily broad list.
The results are not in the area you expected
Check the spelling and scope of the location you entered. If you used a broad city or state search, repeat it with the ZIP code for the neighborhood you intend to visit. You can also use the location option when you are physically near the area and want the finder to start from your current position.

You found a store but cannot tell whether it is open
Look for the hours or open-status information within that individual store result. Do not infer the status from another branch’s card. If the timing of your trip is important, refresh or revisit the listing close to departure.
The route appears to point to the wrong place
Return to the Burlington result and confirm that you selected Get Directions on the intended branch. Then compare the navigation destination with the full street address shown by Burlington. If they do not match, stop and select the correct store result before starting the route.
You are deciding between two branches with similar addresses
Compare the complete street addresses, not just the city name. Check each branch’s hours separately, then generate directions from the specific result you choose. Similar names do not establish that the stores share a schedule or entrance.

Store information is most useful when checked for the particular branch and the particular visit. Save the official finder in your browser rather than relying on an old address or schedule copied elsewhere. When you plan to leave later in the day, open the result again so the displayed open status and hours reflect the latest available listing.
If your plans change, repeat the comparison for the new branch instead of carrying over the first store’s hours or directions. This keeps the address, schedule, and route aligned with the location you will actually visit.
