A brand-name search may return no results, and Hacoo does not publish a verified way to make branded listings appear. A product link can take you to a listing, but it cannot prove the item is authentic.
How to look for products on Hacoo
- Search normally. Enter the product or brand name in Hacoo’s in-app search. Results may vary with region, app version, and available listings.
- Browse categories. If search does not help, browse relevant categories. There is no verified, universal workaround for finding a brand-name listing.
- Inspect the listing. Read the description and size information, examine the photos, and consider the reviews before deciding whether the product suits your needs. These checks can help you assess a listing, but they are not an authentication procedure.
- Check any shared product link carefully. A link may open a product page in the app or on the web. Listings can change, disappear, or become unavailable if a product is removed or sells out; a link is only a navigation aid.
Some secondary coverage describes coded names, altered spellings, or community spreadsheets as ways to find brand-related products. These are not documented official Hacoo instructions, and they do not verify authenticity. Avoid relying on them as a safe or dependable workaround.
Why brand searches may come up empty
There is no published Hacoo method guaranteeing that a brand-name search will show a listing. Individual users have reported difficulty: a Google Play reviewer identified as L F wrote, “If I was to search brand name, nothing comes up,” in a review dated July 20, 2026. Reddit post titles from 2024–2025 include “Why can’t I find brands?”, “Can’t see brands,” and “Not showing branded items?” These are examples of individual experiences, not a representative survey or proof that search behaves the same for everyone.
Why branded listings are controversial
Brand-related listings raise questions about whether a product is genuine or authorized, whether names, logos, images, or designs are being used with permission, and what protections a buyer has if the item is misrepresented. A listing’s resemblance to a known product does not establish that it is either genuine or counterfeit.

The labels matter: “dupe,” “inspired,” “replica,” and “counterfeit” do not mean the same thing. Whether a particular item infringes rights or is falsely represented depends on the evidence and applicable law; a thumbnail or search result is not enough to make that determination.
Hacoo’s Intellectual Property policy addresses reports about content allegedly promoting counterfeit items, unauthorized brand assets, or related links. That shows these complaints fall within the policy’s scope; it does not establish that any particular listing is counterfeit. The U.S. Trade Representative’s 2024 report search-result extract identifies Hacoo.app (formerly SaraMart.com) and says SaraMart has faced scrutiny over counterfeit goods circulating on the platform. That extract does not establish a legal ruling or resolve the status of an individual listing.

What Hacoo says about intellectual-property reports
Hacoo says users can report suspected infringement by identifying the content and the nature of the alleged violation and providing relevant details and evidence. For a trademark report, its policy says a registration certificate consistent with the mark in the content is required. Hacoo says it may remove or disable infringing content and restrict or terminate accounts; it also says it cannot adjudicate disputes between third parties.
The policy states: “We empower our community users with oversight rights—once infringement is discovered, we will immediately remove the third-party content in question.” This is Hacoo’s description of its process, not an independent assessment of removal performance.

Hacoo’s Trust Center reports that, across Q1–Q4 2025, the company removed 1,000+ deceptive posts and links, permanently banned 500+ malicious accounts, and resolved 98% of community reports within 48 hours. These are company-reported enforcement figures, not independently verified metrics. They do not measure the number of counterfeit listings or show that a particular product is genuine.

Compare the listing with the brand’s official store or an authorized retailer. Look for evidence that helps answer these questions:

- Seller authorization: Can you confirm that the seller is authorized by the brand?
- Product identity: Are product identifiers and supporting documentation consistent with the official product?
- Images and details: Do the images and product description match information from an official or authorized source?
- Materials and safety: Is there useful information about materials and product safety?
- Buyer protections: Are the return terms, warranty, and after-sales support clear?
These checks are comparison points, not proof that a Hacoo listing passes them. If authenticity or product safety is important to the purchase, choose the brand’s official store or an authorized retailer and verify the seller and return terms there.
