Find the right kind of Amazon credit
Use the route that matches how the credit was awarded. Amazon.com shopping credits, No-Rush Rewards, Amazon Ads promotions, and AWS credits do not share one account balance.

Check a No-Rush Reward or digital credit
Amazon staff guidance directs customers to the No-Rush reward balance or to amazon.com/norushcredits. A No-Rush Reward is distinct from a gift-card balance, so check this route when the credit came from choosing a no-rush shipping option or was described as a digital credit.
Check a shopping courtesy credit or promotional code
Start with the email or offer that awarded the credit. Its terms determine which products, marketplace, and purchase conditions qualify. Then add an eligible item and inspect the order summary at checkout before placing the order.
#1 Best Overall
- Amazon.com Gift Cards never expire and carry no fees.
- Multiple gift card designs and denominations to choose from.
- Redeemable towards millions of items store-wide at Amazon.com or certain affiliated websites.
- Available for immediate delivery. Gift cards sent by email can be scheduled up to a year in advance.
- No returns and no refunds on Gift Cards.
Do not rely on the gift-card balance page as a complete record. In an Amazon Forums response dated February 1, 2025, Amazon staff member DeeDee S. said promotional claim-code amounts may not appear under “View Gift Card Balance”; they may instead be deducted automatically from an eligible purchase. The same guidance says a courtesy credit can show in the checkout order summary and refers to items shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Treat that as offer-specific guidance, not a rule for every credit.
- Read the original email for eligible items, redemption steps, and any expiration date.
- Check that your cart meets the offer’s conditions.
- Review the order summary and confirm the credit is applied before submitting the order.
Find an Amazon Ads promotional credit
In Amazon Ads Campaign Manager, open Administration > Billing > Promotions. The Summary to date and Rewards areas show promotion details, including the amount, remaining value, timeline, and status. Applied credits may also appear on an invoice. These advertising credits are not part of consumer gift-card funds.

Amazon Ads says promotional credits apply to future advertising costs after they are received. Check the promotion’s terms for any campaign-type or marketplace restrictions. Its help guidance also warns: “You won’t be notified when the ad credits are exhausted, and will be charged for all advertising that exceeds the ad credits amount.” Track the remaining amount and expiry information in the promotions area rather than assuming the credit will cover all future ad spend.
Find an AWS promotional credit
Sign in to the AWS Billing and Cost Management console and open Credits. AWS documents this page as the place to review a credit’s remaining balance, status, start and expiration dates, and eligible products. AWS credits apply to qualifying AWS charges; they are not Amazon.com shopping credits.

If the credit still isn’t visible
- Confirm which service awarded it: Amazon shopping, No-Rush Rewards, Amazon Ads, or AWS.
- Search the award email and review its claim instructions, eligibility rules, and expiration date.
- For a shopping credit, test it only with an eligible purchase and inspect the checkout summary before ordering.
- For ad or AWS credits, check the relevant promotions or Credits page and read the specific offer terms.
Amazon’s public guidance does not establish one universal menu path or balance screen for every shopping-credit type. If the award email gives different instructions, follow those terms or contact the service that issued the credit.
