You can no longer buy tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup: the tournament and FIFA’s final ticket sales phase ended on 19 July 2026. The sales draws, first-come general sale and official resale marketplace described below are historical, not active ways to obtain a ticket.
Can you still buy 2026 World Cup tickets?
No. FIFA’s Last-Minute Sales Phase ran until the end of the tournament on 19 July 2026, and the event has concluded. FIFA’s ticket sales phases page and post-event ticket FAQ provide the official status and historical information.
During the sales period, FIFA identified FIFA.com/tickets as the official, preferred ticket source. That guidance does not make third-party listings equivalent to FIFA tickets or establish that any listing is valid. There is no active official purchase route for this completed tournament.
What were the 2026 World Cup ticket sale dates?
FIFA used several sales phases with different application or purchase processes, payment methods and ticket products. Sales depended on availability and applicable terms.

The final phase opened on 1 April 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern, 8:00 a.m. Pacific, 9:00 a.m. Mexico City time and 17:00 Central European Time. FIFA described it as open to anyone, with purchases processed immediately rather than by draw; successful purchases were confirmed by email during that phase. These are historical details, not current instructions. See FIFA’s Last-Minute Sales Phase announcement.
How did the sale methods differ?
Draws: apply first, then wait for a purchase opportunity
The Visa Presale and Early Ticket Draw required an application during a defined entry window. A successful application did not mean a ticket had been purchased or guaranteed. FIFA stated: “A successful draw application does not guarantee that tickets will be available for purchase during the time slot.” Applicants who received a time slot still faced the availability of tickets when they attempted to buy.
Rank #2
More than 4.5 million fans from 216 countries and territories entered the Visa Presale Draw, according to FIFA’s 2025 announcement. The scale of interest helps explain why a draw entry should not be treated as a reservation.
Last-Minute Sales: direct purchase while inventory remained
In the final phase, buyers could transact in real time on a first-come, first-served basis. The process avoided a draw, but did not guarantee that a preferred match or seat would be available. FIFA’s sales information said group-stage tickets began at USD 60 at the start of sales; that was a historical starting price, not a universal price across phases and not an available offer after the tournament. FIFA noted that prices varied by phase and product. See its ticketing sales phases and price information.

Resale and exchange: fan-listed tickets, with regional distinctions
FIFA opened its Resale/Exchange Marketplace on 2 October 2025. The Resale Marketplace was described as available to residents of Canada, the United States and internationally. The separate FIFA Exchange Marketplace, also called Mercado de Intercambio, was intended for residents of Mexico. Both routes were subject to applicable ticketing terms and federal and local regulations.
A listing was not a promise of a sale: FIFA warned that resale success depended on demand. Its FAQ also stated that only single-match tickets were available to buy through the marketplace. Those rules describe the historical event marketplace, which is no longer a source of 2026 tickets. See FIFA’s marketplace information and ticket FAQ.

Hospitality: ticket-inclusive premium packages
FIFA offered ticket-inclusive hospitality packages through FIFA.com/hospitality, provided by On Location, its official hospitality provider. The packages bundled match access with additional services and were a premium alternative to standard ticket sales. The cited FIFA announcement does not establish current availability or an affiliate program. Details appeared in FIFA’s hospitality announcement.

The USD 60 figure applied to group-stage tickets at the start of the sales period; it should not be read as a price that remained available throughout sales or as the price of every ticket. FIFA also reported that more than 4.5 million people entered the Visa Presale Draw, but that count does not establish how many people ultimately bought tickets or how many tickets were available.
Best Value
- Includes one sealed Panini sticker pack
- Each pack contains 7 randomly inserted stickers
- From the FIFA World Cup 2026 sticker collection
- Specific players, teams, or special stickers are not guaranteed

The official sources cited here do not establish any current inventory or post-event ticket price. Since the tournament is over, an offer claiming to provide a valid 2026 match ticket cannot be verified as an active FIFA sale through those historical figures.
Quick Recap
How to check ticket information for a future FIFA tournament
- Start with FIFA’s official ticketing site and the event-specific ticket terms; do not assume a prior tournament’s dates, eligibility or process will repeat.
- Read whether a phase is a draw, a direct sale or a resale marketplace, and note the exact application or purchase window and time zone.
- Check regional eligibility and ticket type, especially if a marketplace has separate rules for residents of particular countries.
- Distinguish an application, time slot or resale listing from a confirmed purchase. Review the applicable terms and confirmation process.
- Recheck official FIFA information before acting: schedules, prices, inventory and marketplace rules can change from one tournament to another.
