Why there is no reliable top 10
Net worth is the value of a person’s assets minus liabilities, but the estimates cited here do not disclose a shared method or an audited personal balance sheet. Some are commercial publisher estimates; others are secondary reports citing estimates from elsewhere. Missing figures do not show that one person is poorer than another.
It is also important to distinguish personal net worth from annual earnings, company revenue, and the gross value of a contract. Those numbers measure different things. A deal’s headline value is not necessarily what its recipient takes home, and revenue earned by a business is not the owner’s personal wealth.

The table collects figures that have been reported, with their source and type. It is not a ranking: the estimates are not consistently sourced or independently corroborated.

What the business models show—and what they do not
Tony Robbins: events, coaching, and products
Robbins’s official site describes work across mindset, wealth, health, relationships, and business, and promotes events, coaching, books, digital products, journals, and supplements. These offerings show a broad business portfolio, but they do not confirm any net-worth estimate. Tony Robbins’s official site.
Deepak Chopra: books, courses, and membership
Chopra’s official site promotes books, courses, guided yoga and meditation experiences, and a membership, presenting the work as holistic well-being and spiritual inquiry. That describes the brand’s offerings; it does not independently establish their efficacy, revenue, or his personal wealth. Deepak Chopra’s official site.
Jay Shetty: media and product activity
Forbes describes a growing media and product portfolio alongside Shetty’s reported deals and earnings. These business and income figures provide context for his commercial activity, not a basis for inferring net worth. Forbes.

Before treating a figure as evidence of who is richest, check four things:

- Source and date: Who published the number, and when? An estimate can change or disagree with another source’s figure.
- Type of figure: Is it personal net worth, annual earnings, company revenue, or a contract’s gross value over its term?
- Method: Does the publisher explain how it arrived at the estimate, or disclose supporting financial information?
- Corroboration: Is the figure independently supported, or does it rest on one publisher’s estimate?
For example, the Robbins figures summarized by TheStreet differ sharply, while the Chopra estimates also vary. Jay Shetty’s reported deal value and earnings are not interchangeable with a net-worth figure. Keeping the categories separate is more informative than sorting unlike numbers into a league table.
