In July 2025, Wrexham were reported to be ready to offer Kieffer Moore significantly more than his reported Sheffield United wage of £30,000 a week. The report did not disclose an exact offer. Moore later joined Wrexham on a three-year contract, but that announcement did not confirm his salary.
What was Wrexham’s reported wage offer?
Goal.com reported in July 2025 that Wrexham could offer Moore significantly more than the £30,000 per week he was reportedly earning at Sheffield United. The report attributed that account to reporter Alan Nixon, but gave no figure for Wrexham’s proposed wage. Read Goal.com’s report.
So the reported comparison is clear, but the amount is not: there is no confirmed figure in the cited report for what Wrexham offered, or for whether that proposed amount became his final salary.
What is known about Moore’s Wrexham contract?
Wrexham announced on 5 August 2025 that Moore had joined from Sheffield United on a three-year contract. BBC Sport described the transfer fee as undisclosed, while noting reports of a £2 million fee. That reported transfer fee is a payment between clubs, not Moore’s wage. The signing confirms the move and contract length, not the reported salary proposal. BBC Sport’s signing report.

How do later salary estimates compare?
Salary databases publish estimates for Moore’s Wrexham pay, but they do not establish the amount discussed in the July 2025 report or provide an official club-confirmed salary. Their figures differ:
| Source and context | Published figure | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Goal.com, reporting on the July 2025 negotiation; Sheffield United wage attributed to Moore | £30,000 per week | A reported baseline, not an official payroll disclosure. The Wrexham offer was described only as significantly higher. |
| Capology, estimate for Moore at Wrexham in 2026–27 | £30,000 per week | A later salary estimate; Capology says its figures are estimates, not official salary information. Capology’s Wrexham salary estimates. |
| SalaryLeaks, estimate for Moore at Wrexham | £25,000 per week, plus possible bonuses | A separate estimate that conflicts with Capology’s figure; it is not confirmation of the 2025 offer. SalaryLeaks’ Wrexham salary estimates. |
The two database estimates should not be averaged or treated as the offer amount: they refer to estimates of his Wrexham contract, not a verified negotiation figure, and one includes possible bonuses.
