Salary estimates put Hugo Ekitike’s Liverpool wages at £200,000–£250,000 gross a week, but Liverpool has not published a confirmed figure.

Available reports put Hugo Ekitike’s Liverpool wages at an estimated £200,000 to £250,000 gross per week. The figures are not confirmed contract terms: a September 2026 comparison lists the lower estimate from Spotrac and the higher one from Capology, while earlier reports repeatedly cited £200,000 a week.

What is the reported weekly wage?

The latest comparison, published by This Is Anfield on September 29, 2026, lists Capology’s estimate at £250,000 per week and Spotrac’s at £200,000. That makes £200,000–£250,000 the clearest range supported by the available reporting—not a verified figure for Ekitike’s fixed salary. This Is Anfield’s comparison says wage figures are estimates because clubs do not publish official player wages, and that sources can differ.

How the estimates compare

Source and date Reported amount Qualification
This Is Anfield, September 29, 2026 Capology: £250,000 per week; Spotrac: £200,000 per week Two different salary-site estimates reproduced in one comparison; not an official Liverpool figure. Source
The National, August 10, 2025; updated August 3, 2026 £200,000 per week The article says its list draws on reporting and salary sites, including Capology and Spotrac. Source
This Is Anfield, October 16, 2025 £200,000 per week Attributes the estimate to FBref and notes that some figures are unverified. Source
SalaryLeaks profile, viewed October 2026 £200,000 base per week; £3.9 million in yearly bonuses claimed Secondary-source salary and bonus claims attributed to journalist Florian Plettenberg, not published Liverpool contract terms. Source

The repeated £200,000 estimates in 2025 reporting and the £250,000 Capology figure in the later comparison do not show that Ekitike’s fixed wage increased. The later comparison establishes only that the trackers disagree; the sources reviewed do not resolve which estimate is closer to his contractual wage.

What would that mean over a year?

Multiplying the reported weekly range by 52 gives an annualised gross amount of £10.4 million to £13 million. This is arithmetic based on the weekly estimates, not a separately confirmed salary disclosure. The figures are gross pay estimates, not a statement of take-home income after tax or other deductions.

Are bonuses included?

The weekly figures should not be treated as including a confirmed bonus package. SalaryLeaks separately claims £3.9 million in possible yearly bonuses, but that secondary-source figure is not independently confirmed in the other cited reporting. It should not be added to the estimated base wage as though it were guaranteed pay.

How to read the figures

  • Check the date: the £200,000 estimates appear in 2025 reports; the September 2026 comparison shows both £200,000 and £250,000 estimates.
  • Check the named source: the latest comparison attributes its figures to Spotrac and Capology, while the 2025 This Is Anfield report references FBref.
  • Separate base pay from incentives: a reported weekly salary and a secondary claim about bonuses are different categories, and the bonus claim is unverified.
  • Do not mistake an estimate for disclosure: none of the cited sources supplies an official Liverpool-published wage figure or enough contract detail to establish Ekitike’s precise fixed pay.
