Those are general published prices, not a guaranteed quote: official venue pages show higher starting prices in some locations, and your total depends on the venue, experience, and date and time you book.
Sandbox VR prices per person
The company’s official FAQ gives a general price of $39 per person Monday through Thursday and $49 Friday through Sunday, for each experience. It notes that weekday prices can change during peak periods. Treat these figures as a starting point rather than a promise that every venue or booking slot will cost the same.
Published prices on selected official location and booking pages illustrate the variation. The figures below are page examples accessed October 8, 2026—not a complete price list or a quote for every experience and time.
| Official page | Published price examples |
|---|---|
| San Jose | Weekday tickets from $55; weekend tickets from $65; matinee tickets from $55. San Jose location page. |
| Washington, DC | Weekday tickets from $55; weekend tickets from $65. Washington, DC location page. |
| Gulf Coast | Booking results list many experiences at $55–$60 per guest; Age of Dinosaurs is listed from $39. Gulf Coast booking page. |
| Vaughan | Most experiences are listed at $60–$69 per guest; Age of Dinosaurs starts at $39. Vaughan booking page. |
Location pages may also note that prices vary on non-peak days or times. Check the price shown after choosing your venue, experience, and booking slot; that location-specific result is more useful for budgeting than assuming the general FAQ rate applies everywhere.

How to check your exact ticket price
- Open Sandbox VR’s official locations page and choose the venue you plan to visit.
- Select an experience, date, and available time in that venue’s booking flow.
- Review the displayed per-person price and checkout total before paying. Prices and availability can vary by experience and booking time.
Sandbox VR recommends booking online to secure a reservation. Walk-ins are accepted only when space is available, so they are a less reliable option for a planned group outing.
What the ticket includes, and booking two games
The FAQ says videos showing your group during gameplay are included with an experience. If you want to play two games back to back, the second booking may be discounted, subject to availability. The company advises contacting the venue for the applicable price; the FAQ does not give a single discount amount.

Cancellation fees and refunds
Sandbox VR’s FAQ describes the following cancellation terms. Because booking-specific circumstances can differ, confirm the applicable policy with your venue and at checkout.
| When you cancel | Stated outcome |
|---|---|
| At least 72 hours before the booking | Full refund to the original payment method or a gift voucher. |
| 24–72 hours before the booking | A $39 fee applies; the remaining payment is issued as a voucher. |
| Less than 24 hours before the booking | Nonrefundable under the stated FAQ policy. |
For refund questions, the FAQ directs customers to contact the store. See the official FAQ for the company’s policy wording.

Could a membership lower the cost of repeat visits?
The FAQ lists two membership options: $64.99 per month with a three-month commitment, or $54.99 per month with a six-month commitment, plus applicable taxes. The plan is described as offering unlimited weekday sessions at the member’s home location, subject to availability and plan conditions. It is therefore a recurring commitment with eligibility rules, not simply a lower one-time ticket price. Check the current terms and location rules before deciding whether it suits your visit pattern.

Sandbox VR’s U.S. e-gift card page offers selectable amounts including $40, $100, $150, $200, and $300. The page excludes Cincinnati, Fort Myers, St. Petersburg, and Miami, and says cards are not for resale; the company reserves the right not to honor cards bought from third-party sources. The FAQ also says gift cards cannot be used to buy an Unlimited Pass. If you are purchasing a gift, use the official gift-card page and check its current terms.
