Leeds United’s 2026/27 adult season ticket starts at £26.84 per home league match, based on 19 home league games. Leeds are in the Premier League for 2026/27, so that price cannot be ranked against the current Championship as though Leeds were still part of it. The club says its prices are not dependent on which division it plays in.
What does a Leeds United season ticket cost in 2026/27?
The lowest published adult rate works out to £26.84 per home league match across the 19-match league schedule, according to Leeds United’s 2026/27 season-ticket renewal announcement. This is a per-game calculation, not the full season-ticket price; the announcement gives the starting rate in that form.
The club says season-ticket prices will remain the same whichever division Leeds are in for the 2026/27 campaign. Its ticket policies and FAQs describe adult, concession, 16–18 youth and under-16 price types across different stadium areas. The £26.84 figure is the adult starting rate, not a representative price for every seat or age category.
Can that price be compared with Championship clubs?
Not as a current league comparison: Leeds are not a Championship club in 2026/27. The available evidence does not establish a complete, current set of Championship season-ticket prices using consistent definitions, so it cannot show whether Leeds would be cheaper or more expensive than the league’s clubs.

A useful comparison would need to match the season and ticket type. It should distinguish the cheapest adult general-admission seat from a typical or highest standard seat, identify renewal versus new-sale prices, use the same number of home league matches, and handle fees consistently. Concession prices should be compared separately from adult prices. Leeds’ multiple stadium areas and age bands make an unqualified single-price comparison particularly misleading.
Why the number of matches changes the per-game cost
Divisions typically have different league schedules, so dividing a season-ticket price by the wrong number of home games can make one club look artificially cheaper per match. Leeds’ own prior-season renewal notice illustrates the issue: its 2025/26 announcement showed £21.52 per game using 23 home matches and £26.05 using 19 home matches. Those are calculations for that prior season, not the 2026/27 price.

Individual match-ticket booking fees should not be added to a season-ticket comparison unless the comparison explicitly includes them. Leeds’ ticketing FAQ identifies an online or call-centre booking fee for individual tickets; that is a separate charge from the season-ticket rate.

A historical question—how Leeds compared with Championship clubs in a particular past season—requires a complete dataset for that same season and matched ticket definitions. The available BBC Price of Football survey is from 2015, while informal discussion of later prices is not a definitive league-wide dataset. Neither supports a current Championship ranking or a reliable claim about how Leeds compared in a later season.
