Published 2025 F1 crash-damage estimates
The two accessible top-10 lists agree on the drivers and their order, but use different currencies and report different amounts. Keep them separate: neither source establishes that its figures are final or audited.

Dollar ranking reported by SEN
SEN published this list on November 13, 2025, saying three races remained in the season. That timing makes it a mid-season snapshot, not a final-season total.
| Rank | Driver | Estimated damage |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gabriel Bortoleto | $5.4 million |
| 2 | Yuki Tsunoda | $5 million |
| 3 | Lando Norris | $4 million |
| 4 | Lance Stroll | $3.6 million |
| 5 | Jack Doohan | $3.2 million |
| 6 | Charles Leclerc | $3 million |
| 7 | Oscar Piastri | $2.8 million |
| 8 | Isack Hadjar | $2.6 million |
| 9 | Franco Colapinto | $2.4 million |
| 10 | Liam Lawson | $2.2 million |
SEN’s November 13 ranking does not establish a method that can be reconciled with the euro figures. The amounts should not be treated as currency-converted equivalents.

Why there is no reliable “every driver” final total
These publications provide matching top-10 rankings, not a complete, independently verified ledger for every 2025 driver. Their agreement on names and order does not validate a shared methodology: the accessible reporting does not establish that they used the same damage coverage, parts pricing, calculation window, or currency conversion.
A Yahoo Sports search-result excerpt later described more than $34.2 million in grid-wide repair bills and put Bortoleto at around $6.8 million, Tsunoda around $5 million, and Norris around $4 million. The full article could not be verified, and its excerpt does not supply a full driver list or method. Treat those as unverified reported estimates, not confirmed final totals.

What “damage cost” means—and what it does not
It is an estimate, not a public invoice
The Nonf1.com report says its approximate calculations used open-source parts-price data. That can indicate the estimated value of damaged components, but the available material does not show team invoices, a consistent accounting method, or a public driver-by-driver audit.
It does not mean a driver personally paid the bill
These rankings attribute estimated crash damage to drivers; they do not show personal liability or money paid by a driver. The FIA’s financial regulations describe confidential cost-cap reporting to the Cost Cap Administration rather than a public repair ledger. The available FIA document is Issue 12, dated September 30, 2022, and is not enough on its own to establish every rule applicable to 2025. It also references a specific adjustment for qualifying Sprint-session accident damage.

How to read the rankings
- For the euro figures, use the November 14 provisional list and keep its approximate, open-source-parts-price basis attached to the numbers.
- For the dollar figures, note that SEN published its list with three races still to run.
- Do not add the lists together, convert one into the other without a dated exchange rate, or call either the official 2025 total.
- Read “cost” as reported estimated damage attributed to a driver—not as a personal bill or a verified sum paid by a team.
