Airbus does not publish a current A320 list price in the cited materials, and actual purchase prices are negotiated privately. Used A320 prices also cannot be reduced to a defensible generic range without aircraft-specific valuation data.
Why there is no single public A320 price
Airlines and lessors buy aircraft under negotiated contracts, not at a publicly posted retail price. The amount depends on the exact variant and specification, order size, delivery timing, financing, and contract adjustments. A dollar figure presented without those details may be an old list price or an estimate rather than a current transaction price.
Airbus’s current Orders & Deliveries page provides order and delivery information, but the official sources cited here do not state a current A320 purchase price.
Does “A320” mean the aircraft or the whole family?
“A320” can refer specifically to the A320 model or be used informally for the A320 Family. Airbus identifies the family as including the A319 and A321 derivatives, the A320, and the ACJ corporate jet. Family-wide sales and delivery totals therefore should not be mistaken for A320-only figures or prices. Airbus’s Annual Report 2024 reported more than 19,075 A320 Family aircraft sold and over 11,860 delivered by the end of 2024; those are cumulative family totals, not a measure of price.

What recent delivery figures do—and do not—tell you
Airbus reported 607 A320 Family deliveries in FY2025, compared with 602 in FY2024. The newer 2025 total appears in Airbus’s FY2025 results; the 2024 total appears in its FY2024 results. Airbus also said Pratt & Whitney engine supply commitments were affecting the A320 Family ramp-up trajectory. These figures describe production and delivery activity, not the price a buyer pays.
Why an airline’s aircraft commitments cannot set an A320 price
Spirit Airlines reported 269 new-aircraft purchase commitments with an estimated aggregate purchase price of $17.1 billion as of December 31, 2024, in its 2024 Form 10-K. The commitment covers multiple aircraft types and includes anticipated inflation adjustments. It is not an A320-specific price, so dividing the total by 269 would not establish a valid A320 unit cost.

How much does a used Airbus A320 cost?
A current, authoritative generic used-A320 price range is not established by the sources cited here. Age alone cannot determine value: buyers need to assess the exact variant and engine, maintenance condition, remaining life on major components, records, cabin configuration, and delivery conditions. Without those details and a transaction date, a broad number can mislead more than it helps.
