A verified lifetime sales total for the original Titanfall is not established in the public sources cited here. The clearest unit figure is 925,000 U.S. retail copies in March 2014, including PC sales—a one-month, one-country figure, not a worldwide lifetime total.
Is there a confirmed lifetime sales total for Titanfall?
No. EA’s fiscal 2014 results described Titanfall as one of its leading titles but did not report lifetime unit sales. A contemporaneous report likewise supplied no all-time tally. The evidence supports saying that a reliable worldwide lifetime total has not been publicly established in these sources, rather than assigning the game a guessed number. EA’s FY14 results

What does the 925,000 figure mean?
GameSpot reported in June 2014 that EA had previously said Titanfall sold 925,000 retail units in the United States during March 2014; GameSpot said the figure included PC sales. It is a monthly U.S. retail count, not a measure of digital sales, worldwide sales, or lifetime sales. GameSpot’s June 2014 report

Why the launch and sales-ranking claims are not lifetime totals
EA announced North American retail availability for Xbox One and PC on March 11, 2014. Its release information listed European availability for Xbox One and PC from March 13, and Xbox 360 availability from March 25. These dates help explain the launch period behind early coverage; they do not provide an all-platform sales tally. EA’s launch announcement

The honest answer is that a substantiated worldwide lifetime sales number for the original Titanfall is not available in these public reports. The 925,000 figure is useful only with its scope attached: U.S. retail units in March 2014, including PC according to GameSpot’s report.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- In Titanfall, many generations of humanity live in the deepest reaches of explored space. This vast region is known as the Frontier.
- It contains many well-known and inhabited solar systems, but many more worlds remain uncharted. Most people will never travel this far away from normal civilisation; but for pioneers, explorers, mercenaries, outlaws, and soldiers the Frontier offers both adventure and opportunity.
- Delivering blistering fast, fluid combat that gives you the freedom to fight your way as elite, assault pilots or agile, heavily armored titans. Rethink fundamental combat and movement with new abilities to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation.
- The IMC: The Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation started out small, in natural resource extraction industries, under the name Hammond Engineering. Increasing demand for Titan manufacturing materials, combined with Hammond's market-cornering planetary survey technology and map database rights, contributed to explosive growth for the company. Over the course of a century, a series of acquisitions, mergers, and rebrandings lead to the transformation of Hammond Engineering into the ruthless commercial empire that is the IMC.
- The Militia: The Frontier Militia represents the military arm of the Frontier systems' territorial defense pact. The Militia is a loosely governed mishmash of homesteaders, bandits, mercenaries, and pirates, all rising up as 'citizen soldiers' when the need arises. Each brigade within the Militia is responsible for fighting in an assigned section of Frontier territory. Although some brigades are little more than vast pirate organisations, the Militia has enough resources to be a real obstacle to the IMC's ambitions on the Frontier.

Rank #2
- Pilots vs. Titans: Do you take to the war zone on foot or do you leap into the 24-foot tall metallic monstrosity? Pilots can maneuver through the fight with acrobatic grace, but the Titans are absolutely brutal in strength and firepower.
- Multiplayer-exclusive action: Titanfall is being developed from the ground up as an online multiplayer experience but with all the characters, story and memorable moments of single player infused.
- Produced by the Co-creators of Call of Duty: Respawn Entertainment consists of key members of the team that lived and breathed multiplayer first-person shooters for years. Titanfall accumulates that knowledge and experience and builds a brand-new take in a whole new universe.
