The caption reproduced by Billboard Canada began, “Gotta share the other side of gambling…” and continued with Drake describing the losses as “so fried” and hoping to post a big win soon. The post is a snapshot of a reported account display, not a public financial statement.
How certain are the reported amounts?
The widely corroborated account is approximately $124.5 million in wagers and $8.2 million in losses. These are amounts attributed to the screenshot by news outlets, not results confirmed by an independent audit. The available reporting does not establish whether the displayed balance represents Drake’s personal cash or other arrangements.

There is a conflicting report: PerthNow gave totals of $192 million wagered and $12 million lost. Billboard Canada, E! News, the Jefferson City News Tribune and The Guardian align around the lower figures. What does the separate NBA Finals bet have to do with it?
It is a different wager, not part of the month-long total as reported. Billboard Canada said Drake tagged Stake, which it described as an endorsement partner, and separately reported an $800,000 bet on Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals: $600,000 on an Oklahoma City Thunder win and $200,000 on a 6–10-point winning margin. The Pacers won 108–91, according to the Jefferson City News Tribune. The reports do not establish how that individual bet was reflected in the monthly screenshot.
