Transfermarkt’s retrieved estimates put Nottingham Forest’s squad market value well above Leicester City’s. Forest’s current-value column lists €517.80 million for 28 players, while Leicester’s two retrieved profile snapshots list €101.55 million for 23 players and €108.05 million for 27 players. These are estimates from different snapshots, not a synchronized, same-date comparison, so they show the broad gap but do not support a precise like-for-like ratio.
What the available squad-value figures show
Transfermarkt’s dated Premier League table lists Nottingham Forest at €517.80 million for 28 players in its current-value column. The same table gives Forest a historical value of €603.10 million for 33 players as of 1 July 2026. Transfermarkt’s Premier League market-value table
Two retrieved Transfermarkt profile snapshots give different totals for Leicester City. One lists €101.55 million for 23 players and is labelled League One; another lists €108.05 million for 27 players and is labelled Championship. On these retrieved figures, Forest’s listed squad estimate is substantially higher. But because Leicester’s figures come from separate profile snapshots and the evidence does not establish a shared cutoff date for both clubs, the comparison should be read as an indication of relative scale rather than a precise current ratio.

What “market value” means here
In this comparison, “market value” means Transfermarkt’s combined estimates for the players listed in a club’s squad. It is not the sale price or business valuation of Leicester City or Nottingham Forest, a guaranteed transfer-fee total, or an accounting value. How to make a tighter comparison
For a precise like-for-like answer, compare both clubs in the same valuation source using the same cutoff date. Check the squad total, the number of players included, and the competition or season context shown with each figure. A change in squad membership or valuation date can affect the total, so unlike snapshots should not be treated as a synchronized comparison.
