Christoffer and Alexander Reedtz built their business wealth through Football Radar, a football data analytics and analysis company they founded. The company’s work included predicting match and competition outcomes, and the brothers said they wanted to apply their expertise to club operations, particularly player recruitment and transfers. Publicly available sources do not establish either brother’s personal net worth or explain exactly how they financed their 2019 purchase of Notts County.
Football Radar was the business behind their wealth
In its 2019 announcement about the Notts County transaction, law firm CMS described Football Radar as a London-headquartered football data analytics company specializing in predicting match and competition outcomes. CMS said the Reedtz brothers founded the company. CMS’s transaction announcement provides the clearest public description of the business.
The brothers also connected their football ambitions to the company. In a statement reported by the BBC in July 2019, they said they had founded the company about 10 years earlier and had long aimed to own a professional football club. That is their stated timeframe, not an audited incorporation date. The BBC’s takeover coverage carried their statement.
How they expected that expertise to help Notts County
CMS said Reedtz Limited intended to use Football Radar’s resources in running the club, especially in the transfer market. In a BBC Nottingham Sport interview, Christoffer Reedtz described transfers and player analysis as areas of expertise. Those comments show how the brothers saw the business’s analytical work fitting into football operations; they do not disclose Football Radar’s finances or the brothers’ personal income.

How the brothers acquired Notts County
The acquisition was made through Reedtz Limited, which CMS described as owned by the brothers. The takeover was completed on 26 July 2019, when Notts County was facing financial difficulty. Contemporary BBC reporting described overdue wages for players and staff and an unpaid tax bill; Alexander Reedtz said paying staff and players was the immediate priority. The BBC’s report on the club’s financial situation gives that context.
Companies House records both brothers as persons with significant control of Notts County Football Club Limited. Its register places Christoffer Reedtz in the more-than-50%-but-less-than-75% bands for shares and voting rights, and Alexander Reedtz in the more-than-25%-but-not-more-than-50% bands; both records include the right to appoint or remove directors and show notification on 26 July 2019. Companies House cautions that it does not verify the accuracy of filed information, so these are register entries, not independent proof of the brothers’ overall wealth. The Companies House control page records those details.

The cited company, transaction and news sources do not state either brother’s personal net worth, Football Radar’s revenue, profit or valuation, or the brothers’ ownership percentages in Football Radar. They also do not disclose the purchase price or the precise source and structure of the acquisition funding. The evidence supports Football Radar as the documented business behind their wealth, but it does not show that they sold the company or received a particular payout.
