If you mean a Global Tel*Link (GTL) AdvancePay prepaid calling account, check your balance by signing in to ConnectNetwork or calling the AdvancePay automated system at 800-483-8314. For a missing account, an unexpected balance, or login trouble, ConnectNetwork customer service is 877-650-4249. GTL can also refer to other services, so first confirm which account you have.
Check an AdvancePay balance online
- Go to ConnectNetwork and sign in to the account associated with your facility and prepaid calling account.
- Open your account or AdvancePay details and review the displayed balance. GTL’s AdvancePay FAQ says online account holders can view their balance there.
If you cannot sign in or do not see the expected account, contact customer service rather than creating or funding a different account before confirming the correct facility and account.
Check by phone or get help
If you cannot use the website, call the AdvancePay automated payment system at 800-483-8314. The current ConnectNetwork contact page also lists customer service at 877-650-4249, with support available 24/7. Some facilities have dedicated phone numbers; check the contact page for your facility’s listing.
Older GTL materials list other automated-system numbers, including 1-866-607-6006 in a California FAQ. Because the current contact page lists 800-483-8314, use that page or a facility-specific listing for up-to-date phone guidance rather than assuming an older number works everywhere.

Which balance are you trying to check?
GTL correctional-services accounts can be used by friends and family to fund telephone, inmate trust, and commissary services. The right account and process depend on the service and facility. GettingOut also identifies TouchPay Holdings, doing business as GTL Financial Services, as a provider of certain inmate trust-account and other payments. If you are unsure, verify the facility and account type before following an AdvancePay instruction.
If by “GTL” you mean Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company, its policyholder portal is separate from ConnectNetwork and is not a prepaid calling balance page. At myaccount.gtlic.com, policyholders can access policy information, ID cards, claim status, contact updates, and bill payment. If you do not know your policy number, the portal lists 800-338-7452. Its support hours are Monday–Thursday, 7 a.m.–5 p.m. CST, and Friday, 8 a.m.–noon CST.
