Can you really earn up to 60% commission with the Hostinger affiliate program? Yes, but Hostinger ties that top rate to specific offers for paid AI Builder plans; it is not the standard rate for every referral. Hostinger’s public affiliate page describes a 40% starting commission that increases with sales volume, while its agreement sets different conditions by product and offer. Whether the program fits you depends on what you publish, which sales qualify, and whether you can meet the payout thresholds.
How much commission does Hostinger pay?
Hostinger’s public affiliate page says commission starts at 40% and grows with sales volume, but it does not publish every tier or identify the offer assigned to each affiliate. Treat that as a general description, not a guaranteed rate for your account or every sale. Hostinger’s affiliate program page
The Affiliate Program Agreement distinguishes the headline rate by service and offer. It lists commissions of up to 40% for specified hosting and related services, while paid AI Builder plans can qualify for up to 60% under specific offers only. Hostinger advises affiliates to contact their account manager for details about those AI Builder offers. The agreement says AI Builder includes services previously offered as Hostinger Horizons. Hostinger Affiliate Program Agreement
| Sale type | Commission terms | Key qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Listed Shared, Cloud, VPS, and certain related services | Up to 40% | Commission applies to qualifying initial purchases of at least 12 months; other exclusions apply. |
| Paid AI Builder plan | Up to 60% | Only under specific offers; ask the account manager for details. |
| Domains and Hostinger email | Commission may be available during special affiliate offers | Yearly plans only during those offers. |
The agreement caps commission at $300 per sale for Revenue Share offers. It calculates commission without taxes, fees, additional services, or domain prices. The cap and calculation rules are distinct from the advertised percentage, so do not assume a percentage of the full customer checkout total.

Which Hostinger sales qualify for commission?
Hosting and related services
For the listed hosting services, the commissionable sale must be an initial purchase for 12 months or longer. A one-month hosting purchase does not qualify, and neither do renewals or upgrades under the agreement.
Domains and email
Domains and Hostinger email are commissionable only for yearly plans when a special affiliate offer is active. The agreement also excludes domain prices from the commission calculation, so check the offer terms rather than treating a domain bundled with hosting as commissionable.

Check the offer before promoting
Because the public page does not state every tier or affiliate-specific offer, confirm your assigned commission rate and the eligible product and term in your affiliate account or with your account manager. This is especially important before advertising the 60% figure: it applies only to qualifying paid AI Builder plans under specific offers, not universally to Hostinger referrals.
Who can join the Hostinger affiliate program?
Hostinger says the program is intended for publishers with established websites that attract quality traffic, or creators with significant YouTube or social-media audiences. Relevant subjects include web hosting, self-hosting, website building, establishing an online presence, and affiliate marketing. Hostinger reviews applications manually and may reject them. Rank #3
This makes the program a more natural fit for an established website or creator whose audience is actively evaluating websites and hosting than for a new account without a defined audience. Hostinger also describes referral and partner programs as alternatives for different audiences; they are separate options, not interchangeable names for the affiliate program. Review the eligibility and application details before applying.
How tracking works—and what promotion is prohibited?
Hostinger’s agreement says affiliate cookies last up to 30 days. If a visitor clicks a later affiliate’s link in the same browser, that later affiliate cookie overwrites the earlier one. A click therefore does not guarantee attribution to the first publisher whose link the visitor encountered. Hostinger Affiliate Program Agreement
The agreement prohibits self-referrals and cookie insertion, as well as specified forms of spam, impersonation, unapproved paid traffic, and other deceptive or unapproved promotion. Read the agreement’s full restrictions before choosing channels or buying traffic; the terms do not support assuming that every traffic source or promotional tactic is allowed.
When does Hostinger pay affiliate commissions?
Hostinger’s payout guidance says commission is granted after the 30-day money-back-guarantee period has passed. Affiliates must request payout by the end of the month; approved commissions are issued on the 20th of the following month. Minimum payout amounts depend on the payment method. | Payout method | Minimum payout |
|---|---|
| PayPal | $100 |
| Bank transfer | $500 |
These thresholds and timing mean that an approved referral does not necessarily produce an immediate payment. You need to clear the guarantee-period wait, reach the relevant minimum, and submit the payout request by month-end to enter the stated monthly payment cycle.

It may suit a publisher or creator who already reaches people researching hosting, website creation, or online presence, and who can promote the service in context. The key decision is not simply whether a headline rate sounds attractive: it is whether your audience is a match, the product and purchase term qualify, the offer assigned to you makes sense for your economics, and your promotion method complies with the agreement.
- Potential fit: An established website or significant creator audience focused on hosting, websites, or related subjects.
- Verify first: Your actual offer, its commission rate, qualifying products and terms, and whether any special offer is active.
- Plan for cash flow: Account for the guarantee-period wait, monthly request deadline, payout schedule, and minimum threshold for your payment method.
- Promote transparently: Disclose your affiliate relationship and follow Hostinger’s restrictions; never promise that every affiliate receives 60% or a particular earnings result.
For a personal-finance audience, a contextual link can be relevant when readers are evaluating Hostinger or the economics of joining its program. Keep the disclosure clear and distinguish the program terms from any estimate of what an individual affiliate might earn: Hostinger’s stated commission rates are conditional, and no earnings outcome is guaranteed.
