What Home Depot featured for Father’s Day 2026
Home Depot’s official 2026 gift guide presented practical, project-focused gifts, including cordless combo kits and homeowner starter kits for DIYers. Ryobi and Milwaukee were among the featured brands. The guide said savings on its selections were available through June 24, 2026.

How to choose a kit for the recipient
Start with the work the recipient actually does. A drill-and-impact-driver pair can suit common drilling and fastening projects; a larger combo kit may make sense for someone who will use its additional tools. Compare the kit contents rather than assuming that a higher tool count means better value.
- Check batteries and charger: Note how many batteries are included and their stated capacity, and confirm whether a charger is part of the kit.
- Consider the battery platform: If the recipient already owns cordless tools, a compatible kit may avoid adding another battery system. Home Depot’s guide said its referenced Ryobi ONE+ 18V drill-and-driver kit worked with over 300 other Ryobi ONE+ cordless products. That compatibility statement applies to the named platform and kit context; it should not be generalized to other models or brands. Confirm compatibility for the exact model.
- Compare total cost and included extras: Check whether the listing includes a bag or other accessories, and compare the actual current kit price—not an expired sale price—with the value of the tools and batteries included.
Because the 2026 promotion has passed, verify any present-day offer directly with Home Depot before relying on a past price or displayed saving.
