What “restock live” meant in 2024
The headline refers to a past restock, not a current inventory alert. Home Depot said its 2024 Halloween assortment would launch online July 18. Earlier, on April 24, Axios reported that a “Halfway to Halloween” online sale for selected products from the collection was planned to start the next day, at an undisclosed time. WISN’s September 9 report later said the 12-foot skeleton was back in stock. These were separate points in the 2024 season, not evidence of continuous availability. Which 12-foot skeleton was restocked?
The U.S. 2024 Home Accents Holiday Giant-Sized Skelly is model 24SV24386, Home Depot item 1010749792. Checking the model number matters because later seasonal pages may feature newer versions; do not assume their specifications, accessories, or stock apply to this 2024 edition. The retailer listing and official 2024 use-and-care guide identify the product and model.
Features and dimensions
Home Depot’s product listing describes LCD LifeEyes effects, poseable arms, indoor/outdoor use, a plug-in adapter, ground stakes and a tether, and a timer set for six hours on and eighteen hours off. The listing gives dimensions of 143.7 inches high by 63 inches wide by 71 inches deep. WISN described eight eye-display settings and a remote. These are reported features, not a claim that every current listing or later Skelly edition is identical.

Setup and seasonal storage
The 2024 use-and-care guide strongly recommends three adults for a major assembly step and advises using a ladder and more than two people for another stage. Treat this as a large, multi-person decoration: check the available setup area and plan where the parts will be stored after Halloween. Home Depot describes the product as designed for seasonal setup and breakdown; WISN also reported that it can be broken down for storage.
The skeleton dog and historical prices
Home Depot’s 2024 announcement lists a 7-foot skeleton dog companion. The name can be confusing because Axios’s April report described a new 5-foot skeleton dog among selected sale products, while its reported planned retail price for the dog was $199. WISN’s September coverage identified the companion as a 7-foot dog and reported a $199 listing with a $49.98 sale price shown. Axios reported a planned $299 retail price for the 12-foot skeleton; WISN likewise reported a $299 Skelly display. All of these are 2024 price reports, not current offers, and the dog’s differing reported sizes make checking the specific product listing and model especially important.
